Security Forces Defuse a Bomb in Bosaso

Bosaso (PP News Desk) — Puntland Security Forces in Bosaso defused a bomb planted in one of the commercial city’s neighbourhoods.

One of the locals tipped off the police about the bomb. Bosaso Police carried out patrols at the neighbourhood where the bomb had been planted. Bosaso Police thanked locals for the tip-off.

Terrorist groups use improvised explosive devises to cause maximum destruction at areas populated by civilians.

A Bosaso resident told Puntland Post that Bari regional administration introduced a neighbourhood watch schemes following the reorganisation of Bosaso into four neighbourhoods.

“Residents pass on information about any person suspected of planting a bomb or Planning an attack” said a business man.
