Somaliland: President Muse Bihi Receives Malawi Delegation

Hargeisa, (Qaran news)-The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, has received a delegation from the Republic of Malawi in Hargeisa.

The Malawi delegation is led by Foreign Minister, Eisenhower Nduwa Mkaka, accompanied by senior officials from Malawi’s Trade, Education and Agriculture departments.

The delegation arrives on Somaliland just a few days after the return of President Muse Bihi from Kenya.

During his official visit to Kenya, the President of the Republic of Somaliland and his delegation were able to sign a bilateral agreement which included the opening of respective diplomatic offices, direct flights between the two countries and trade and security cooperation.

The Malawi delegation are expected to meet with senior government officials, parliamentarians, members of the opposition parties, social organizations and the business community.

According to reliable sources, a delegation from the United Republic of Tanzania are expected to visit Somaliland shortly.
