Garowe (PP News Desk) — The former Puntland President Dr Abdiweli Mohamed Ali has faulted Puntland President Said A. Deni for boycotting Dhuusamareeb III Summit.

“In my view President Deni should have attended Dhuusamareeb Summit “ Abdiweli told Universal TV News Rewiew Programme. Abdiweli discounted the argument from Puntland State Government that a caretaker government was akin to power vacuum.

Puntland State views the dismissal of the former Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheire has undermined the ability of the Federal Government to be involved in talks about 2021 elections.

Puntland State boycotted Dhuusamareeb III Summit and called for the International Community to assume the role of a guarantor for summit to bear fruits.

Southwest State, Hirshabeele, Galmudug and Banadir region yesterday agreed a constituency-based electoral model. “We welcome the brothers who did not attend the summit” tweeted President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed on the Dhuusomareeb Agreement and the absence of Puntland and Jubaland leaders from the summit.
