The Somali cabinet gives the PM a green light to engage the federal member states on upcoming elections

MOGADISHU (HOL) - During today’s virtual Cabinet meeting, the Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheyre has signalled to his objections to term extension to the current government’s mandate and stated that Somalia is at a stage where it needs to have a broader consultation and agreed consensus on the way forward to conduct elections which commands the support of the Somali stakeholders.
