Posted November 23, 2019 A Car bomb injured two in Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital on Saturday noon, police said, the latest in a string of attacks in the seaside city by Al-Shabab, Al-Qaeda’s ally in East Africa. Somali police apprehended a man suspected of detonating the vehicle-borne improvised explosive device near Safari Restaurant in Zoobe junction area. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, but, such car bombs are often attributed to Al-Shabab, which is battling to oust the UN-backed Somali government.
