Deeq A. Posted February 7, 2019 The Somali oil and gas conference hosted by Spectrum, the seismic data processing company, has kicked off in London. The controversial conference will focus on the results of seismic surveys to be presented by Somalia and the company involved, according to Somali petroleum minister, Abdirashid Mohamed Ahmed. The minister who is in London together with a delegation from Somali government has dispelled the allegations that his plans to auction oil blocks during the event. Abdirashid said Somali government would not invite bids for offshore oil blocks at the London event.
