The fact that you are questioning the inclusion of a few villages in the map of Awdal leads neutral observers to conclude that you see a possibility of Awdal opting out of the enclave and that you are fretting about a border dispute ensuing.

Sure, if neutral observers have a thing for fallacious inferences.

Since when is bulaxaar gabiley arasbiyo wajaale part of awdal province?

What do you expect? These kind of maps are usually made by people who are not from Somaliland, and hence whose knowledge of Somaliland is severely limited. No person from Awdal or anywhere else in Somaliland would honestly make such a ridiculous map.

    Most regions of Northern Somalia will vote Yes for United Somalia, the results would look like this;

    - Awdal 90% Yes for United Somalia,

    - Sool Sanaag & Cayn 99.99 % Yes for United Somalia,

    - Maakhir 99.99 % Yes for United Somalia,

    - Bari, Nugaal, Mudug, and all Puntland 99.99 % Yes for United Somalia,

    - Only Hargeisa, Burco, and Barbara Triangle will for the Clan-Secession. (Woqooyi Galbeed and Togdheer)

Could you elaborate as to why you think Sool, Sanaag, and Awdal would vote for united Somalia? Oops, forget the question! I just realised that you used the phrase 'clan secession'. I don't think anyone with such a pathetic mentality can ever be capable of coherent reasoning!

  4. I was initially amused, but now I'm actually pretty sad for the two of you. I mean, it's understandable for people not to know things, and, or hence, to get certain facts wrong, but being willfully ignorant is a completely different thing. I'm now finished with this thread, but among the bemusing things I've learned from it include: Somaliland was a colony, protectorates don't get independence, and an internet meme works as evidence! I'm sure I would find far more bemusing ones if I push you bit more, but I've better things to do. Peace.

What term describes when a sarcastic proclamation like the one below is actually true?

Off-topic, but I've just noticed your postcount, and I can't contain a laugh! Seriously, and this is not a rhetorical question, why didn't you invest the energy you made with the 33,000+ posts in learning about things that you obviously care about (based your posts in this thread and elsewhere), like the history of the Somali people?

"The protectorate" was never placed under the administration of the Colonial Office. The British never occupied the Northwestern regions of Somalia. lol

I'm going to the library now. lol

I hope you realise that you didn't make much sense there. If it was meant as sarcasm, then you must have a grotesque grasp of the concept.

why did you chose indepdence and Somalia? Give us a break. Also there never was anything called Somaliland. It was Hargaysa that the Republic of Somalia and the flag first became independent and the union was formed 4 days after..

Let ask you a question first: why should I take you seriously? Everything you have said so far suggests that I shouldn't. You thought Somaliland was a colony (which is historically inaccurate) and asked as to why a protectorate would get independence (painfully ridiculous question, if one understands the meaning of 'protectorate'). And now you're claiming there was never as such thing as Somaliland, another historically inaccurate claim, with bunch of other ridiculous stuff? I'm sorry, but I don't believe engaging an argument with (or explaining things to, for that matter) someone that ignorant can ever be productive!

Asking the British who colonized and enslaved them for recognition says a lot about their mental state. Typical african slave mentality. What a disgraceful photo!

Somaliland was not even clonised, let alone enslaved. It was, in fact, a protectorate. It's interesting that the people who usually voice bitter opinions about Somaliland and its people tend to be those who are least informed of history. Not a surprise there, of course.

  10. Aaliyyah, I was blaming myself for forgetting the word, but less so now that someone else did too!

A career involves double the workload of studies. If you think it's impossible to study and be in a full time relatiobship then you should give yourself completly to your career. The arguments against student marriage here sound silly to me. IMHO off course.

Nonsense! People studying at any half-decent university get assigned more workload daily than most jobs would involve. If by 'career', you mean a dead-end job, which ironically is the kind of a job that early marriage helps one usually land on, then maybe you are right. To be honest, I find the way Somalis underrate education and over sanctify marriage disgusting. Explains how it was that a computer science graduate happened to not know what Turing Machine is that one time!

Why should we trust you on that? Provide reasons for this claim, or we shall dismiss it as a baseless speculation!
