  1. Lions of Men When the Northern clans ducked their heads and when the western clans (Oggadeenss) stood by us Oh lions of men When the abbyssians held us by our necks because of our own folly because of our own rotten deeds When the camels cried because of what they saw When the blue skies of somalia turned grey and when the blue ocean of Somalia turned red red in the blood of those that were slain Oh men of men When we told you that the odds were against us When the world stood against us and called us terrorist We swear that you stood as men on the plains of Ras kambooni As US vultures hoovered above our heads ducking their beads from time to time Nay, Allah has not abandoned us because he has blessed amongst us Lions of men. Lions that stand as men
  2. Mohammed Dhere is a top class Dhobadhiff. Many people hold him and AY, C/Qeybdiid responsible. This guy is a brave Dhabodiff to try and stay in Somalia after the ethiopians leave, walahi the sheer anger of the people can ripe him up to a million pieces. I hope all Dhabodiffs learn from the harsh lesson of this man, that they ethiopians will one day discard you once you are of no more use to them. Mohammed Dhere is a dead man walking.
  3. General Duke is a *******, what he say's has no importance or significance. Never has he dared to blame he's masters i.e ethiopia, what a ****** of human who is suffering from qablism. [ September 10, 2008, 11:15 PM: Message edited by: Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar ]

  5. Somali soldiers defect to UIC Sat, 06 Sep 2008 16:25:26 GMT Somali government soldiers Amidst rampant violence in Somalia, nine TFG soldiers escape and voluntarily surrender to the Union of Islamic Courts fighters. The defectors, eight Somali soldiers and one Ethiopian officer, escaped from their bases in Mogadishu and handed over their weapons to the Union of the Islamic Courts (UIC) fighters, Press TV correspondent in Mogadishu reported Saturday. The Ethiopian officer said, “I was sent to kill innocent civilians but that is not something good to do for my country.” He stated that he would never return to Ethiopia and wanted to convert to Islam saying that his government was “colonizing the Ethiopian people.” Despite Addis Ababa's denial of these incidents, defections are becoming more common place in Somalia as tensions escalate between the Ethiopia and the Islamic movement, UIC. The UIC has been trying to re-establish order in the country after it was ousted by the current Transitional Federal Government backed by Ethiopia and the US in 2007. Meanwhile, in northern Mogadishu an explosion has killed one student and seriously injured four other people near the Ramadan and Lafweyn hotels. Fighting in the Horn of Africa nation has claimed the lives of thousands of civilians and displaced nearly a million in a humanitarian crisis which already has to contend with drought, spiraling food prices and an uncontrollable inflation. 6. I agree with everything you said but it seems a few individuals blinded by qabil can't seem to understand that fact. So i have to post dumb topics like these to hopefully help waken their senses. Where's that General Duke fellow that was telling us only a week ago that Ethiopia and somalia are brothers. Last week he made a thread that the TFG puppets would begin their new "security operations". He calls it security operations but we call it rape and murder sprees.
  7. Somalia: MP says Ethiopia “colonizes Somalia” September 04, 2008 07:53 AM By Shabelle One of Somalia’s legislative body members has announced that Ethiopia laid claims to Somalia. Reacting on the transitional government’s remarks regarding capturing of Kismayo town from the islamists Osman Elmi Boqore has told Shabelle that Ethiopia dictated for the government to recapture Kismayo to make possible that Ethiopian troops to move out to the town that has significant port. “Ethiopia wants to seize where ever it interests in Somalia to acquire supplementary economic because Ethiopia is landlocked, Somalis seized the town only Somalis can also recapture “no Ethiopians” ” Boqore said. Regarding on the agreement signed by the president and the prime minister in Ethiopia Boqre has pointed out that it was “erroneous” accord since they didn’t in person agreed as he put it. “They have been read out for what they agreed, they have to agree as leaders of nation” Boqore further said. It’s the first kind or speech from Somali MP who stated that Ethiopia seized Somalia and take possession of. Shabelle Media Network
  8. Meles Zenewi is the ****** Abbyssian who thought that he could colonise the somali people. Hell no you ****** Tigray
  9. Top puppet leaders including Warlord Abdullahi Yusuf have spoken publicly about the port city of Kismayo, which was seized by a coalition of clan fighters and Islamist guerrillas last month. Warlord Yusuf told the VOA Somali Service on Monday that "no group" independent of the (TFG) can have troops inside the country, while indicating that Islamists took control of Kismayo from clan militias and not from the TFG. Yusuf Omar Azhari, the Somali Warlords political adviser, told the BBC Somali Service during an interview that Islamists "will not be allowed" to keep control of Kismayo. Mr. Azhari did not have convincing answers as to why the TFG did not address the Kismayo issue when clan militias loyal to warlord Barre Hirale expelled the TFG-appointed local government and supporting troops in April 2007. "The TFG will take steps on Kismayo by cooperating with local clans...to expel the invaders, whether they are the [islamic] Courts or al Shabaab," Mr. Azhari said. But Mr. Abdirisak Ashkir, the country's reconciliation minister, told a Mogadishu press conference today that "a clan alliance" invaded Kismayo. Ashkir, who belongs to the same clan as ousted warlord Hirale, said the puppet government will "even use foreign troops to retake Kismayo." He condemned Islamist fighters for violating the Djibouti Agreement, which called for a ceasefire, while suggesting that the Islamists had no right to attack Kismayo because the southern port was under the control of clan militias, and that there were no Ethiopian or Somali government troops present. It is not clear why TFG officials are speaking out on Kismayo after 16 months of neglecting the town, which was ruled by anti-government militias loyal to warlord Hirale. Sources in Kismayo tell Garowe Online that the town is calm and safe, while adding that local clans united under the banner of the Islamic Courts movement to liberate the port town from warlord Hirale and his militias. Much of Somalia is under the control of Islamists, including the town of Bal'ad, which is located 30km north of Mogadishu. Relevant Links Further, Middle Shabelle region and its capital, Jowhar, has been governed by Islamists for months and TFG officials have not addressed this issue
  10. It looks like Mogadishio is soon about to fall to the somali liberation forces, if Sheikh Indhacadde is giving live press conferences on broad daylight. There is absolutely nothing the Tigrays can do about it, they are too weak and friegtened to come out of their holes, lol.
  11. If death catches us. If our blood flows but does not stop Than we die free Is our land not being plundered by Tigrays? Is our people not being Slaughtered by Tigrays? If our flesh sweats Do they think our anger stops? Is this land not ours? Is the sky not ours? Those who hold clan loyalty, than they will worry. When the time passes than the occupiers shall be no more. They shall be tossed as they came. Their time will be finished but our time shall begin as certain as night follows day as certain as ease follows hardship as certain as death itself.
  12. Mogadishu, Somalia (HOL) – In a press conference held in Mogadishu, the Defence Secretary of the Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somalia (ARS) Sheik Yusuf Indhade discussed the disagreements among the leaders of the ARS and said that Sheik Shariif is their leader but they oppose his position on the Djibouti Accord and that Sheik Shariif can come to Somalia particularly to Middle Shabeele region. “Sheik Shariif is our leader and he is welcome to Middle Shabeele but others like Abdi Qaybdiid, Morgan and Dawiish are not welcome and I don’t think they would want to come”, said Indhade who added that the Djibouti Accord was not just. Sheik Yusuf denied that he has anything to do with the piracy currently taking place on Somalia seas. He also denied any involvement in the trade of illicit drugs such as Hashish. Andrew Mwangura, head of the East African Seafarers' Assistance Programme recently accused Sheik Indhade of involvement in the piracy taking place on Somali waters. Sheik Indhade accused Puntland of harbouring the pirates quoting the leader of Puntland Mr. Ade Muse who recently said that some of the pirates live in Puntland. He also said that when he was the Governor of Lower Shebeele his forces used to burn illicit drugs instead of selling them. This is the first time Sheik Indhade holds live face to face press conference in a dramatic Media event in Mogadishio itself ,since the Union of Islamic Courst (UIC) forces were ousted from Mogadishu and several parts in the south of Somalia a year ago by Ethiopian forces.
  13. Somaliland is a joke, nothing but an ethiopian colony, used to destroy the rest of somalia.
  14. So much for somaliland independence, those donkeys don't even know that they are occupied by ethiopia. Atleast the somalis in the south know this sad fight and are fighting day and night for liberty.
  15. I can now report that the dispute between the two groups have been resolved. The islamic official in charge of Jowhar has washed he's hands of the dispute between the two groups and said that he would not support sheikh's shariffs efforts of grouping with the TFG.
  16. What is the point of the Djibouti agreement? There is no TFG to negotiate with. Ethiopia is fleeiing somalia anyway thanks the brave resistance forces. So whats going on, are the resistance groups now fighting each other for control of somalia since ethiopia is pulling out.????? What the hell is going on and what is Sheikh Shariff doing????
  17. Its a shock, i think that sheikh shariff's is on the wrong here. The Djibouti agreement is only there to divide the resistance. Anyway they will all fall in line once they realise that Ethiopia will not be leaving on the agreed time line.
  18. New Islamic Court opened in central Somalia 31 Aug 31, 2008 - 4:13:46 PM BELETWEIN, Somalia Aug 31 (Garowe Online) - A well-organized event attended by the business community, traditional elders and senior officials of the Islamic Courts movement was held Saturday in Bulo Burte, a district in Hiran region of central Somalia, Radio Garowe reported. Sheikh Abdirahman Ibrahim, the Islamists' top leader in Hiran, opened the ceremony by saying that local officials were working to formally establish an Islamic Court in Bulo Burte for the first time since the Ethiopian invasion of December 2006. "Somalis can overcome their problems only by adopting Islamic Law," Sheikh Abdirahman said. Sheikh Abdullahi Filanwaa, chairman of the new Islamic Court in Bulo Burte, promised to fulfill his duties and urged the people to support the Court. Several cases have already been filed with Bulo Burte's Islamic Court, with Islamist officials saying they will open new courts in "every district" of Hiran region. Meanwhile, traditional elders in the regional capital Beletwein have been holding talks with Ethiopian army commanders in the town. According to Da'ar Hersi Hoshow, the elders' council chair, the clan elders are requesting the Ethiopian army to withdraw from Beletwein in respectful observance of the Muslims' Holy Month of Ramadan. Outside of Beletwein, Islamist guerrillas are in control of every town in Hiran region and many other parts of Somalia. Source: Garowe Online
