    My question is: what exactly is the objective for killing Gedi? Let's say A/Y and Gedi gets assassinated the other day, what is the outcome that the hitmen wants to reach? Fly in Sharifka and form a new government? Sounds a bit unrealistic, neither US or Ethio would accept someone affiliated with those ppl to take position. Most likely Salad Jelle and Maxamed Dheere would be appointed new leaders of TFG until elections in -09.

     

    On the flip side, todays ICU hero killed 6-7 other innocent ppl and wounded several more. Must be the PR campaign for the new presidential candidates Sharifka and Indhacadde I guess?

    Dont worry president anwar. This is easy to rebuild. Let's just wait until elections -09 when things have become fully stable. I estimate that it would take less than 6 months to create a nice shopping district here (diaspora somalis got money).

    ^^ Nice deal you flipped there, thats a good story. The land development projects Northerner mentioned looks itneresting too. I heard a story about a couple of somali businessmen that bought a B 747-200 (jumbojet), supposedly they wanted to re-start Somali Airlines but I don't know how far that project went.

     

    I think SOL should start a Strictly Business section were entrepreneurs, financiers, to-be-entrepreneurs can bond, exchange ideas or present new projects to readers and other SOl members.

    After having discussed with a bunch of Slanders lately, it seems that Riyaales party has become increasingly popular and that the sitting president most likely will get re-elected for another term. Are you Slanders getting the same indications? Any comments on this, good/bad?

    There is a difference between love and love.

     

    The first appeals primarily to the chemical reactions that initially arise and the second love is defined as the more down-to-earth, less volatile, emotionally soothing and stable love that ultimately makes or breaks if a prospective marriage is to go through or not.

     

    Now make a self-diagnosis and see which of those two stages your currently in. I think your in stage one still so don't bet the ranch on this woman and for goodness dont buy her any diracs and dahab just yet!
