Perhaps it is time you acknowledge this 'certain quarters' you keep speaking of in every thread are here to stay whether cuqdad u dhimantid or not.

     

    Instead of desperately trying to play the divide and distract politics of the South, why not admit there is really no difference between Muqdisho, Boosaaso, Baydhabo, Marka, Gedo and Kismaayo on the idea of dismembering the country. They all want one thing, Somalia as one country. Somalia is one and shall remain so. Stop picking Muqdisho over Boosaaso or Gedo over Kismaayo. That's really a moot point. The one thing that unites them all is rejecting your secession movement.

    Stoic: You're right saaxiib and I get what you are saying. Wished we looked for what is good in each side instead of wishing for more blood and warfare.

     

    The point I was making is that some of our hardcore secessionist brothers here weren't making this much noise or any noise at all when Godane and Afghanis were blowing people up into peices and making all kind of havoc in the south. Our own xaaji habaar used to praise him as the rightful ameer of the people. Now that peace and stability is coming back slowly, our nothern brothers feel we can't have this peace and political negotioting of the locals in Kismaayo. Thats a no no.

    ^No matter how much you paint Jubbaland initiative foreign and Kenyan, at the end of the day, no one has a monopoly over the people of the region, not Hassan, not Kenyatta. This idea of killing it off will complicate the matters more and people will come to question Hassan's own legitimacy. It is a constitutional issue, not which Amison troops favor it. Kenya can stay or go but Jubbaland isn't going anywhere. The opposition is barking on a wrong tree, I think.

    If you're anti-qabiil, you might as well be anti-Somalia. Nothing is wrong with clan. Embrace qabiil waryaa, the sooner you do that the better. What destroyed Somalia is qabyaalad and jahli, not qabiil. It's qabiil that leads to death and destruction.
