    ASALAMU ALAYKUM BROTHER & SISTERS.

     

    could someone please answer me this, it's something that's been bugging me for quite sometime now. it's similar to a story i heard back home saying that some humans were turned to monkeys for playing with food.

     

    a while back a friend of mine told me that one of the reasons why muslims don't eat pork is that pigs were once human beings who were damned by allah for their wrong doings like that monkeys story. Also could u guys please tell why pork is haram and where it says that either in the qoran or the hadiths

    FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ANSWERED MY QUESTION SINCERLY THANK YOU, BUT I'M NOT TALKING ONLY ABOUT THE POPULATION IN SOMALIA AND THE DIASPORA AFTER THE WAR, BUT ALSO SOMALIS LIVING IN KENYA, ETHIOPIA AND DJIBOUTI.

    WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS ETHIOPIA IS ABOUT 60 MILLIONS AND 5% OF IT IS BELEIVED TO BE SOMALI. SO SOMALIS LIVING OUTSIDE THE MAINLAND MUST BE MORE THAN 1 0R 2 MILLION.

    Can anyone help me with something thats been nagging at me for a while, a few weeks ago while chewing (khat)a friend and i were arguing about the somali population both back home ( africa) and abroad. so if u guys can give me even an approximate number it will be greatly appreciated.
