  1. You know how back in somalia our main breakfast meal was canjeero, well here in the west many people each cornflakes or like me branblakes and so on. I have noticed how nearly every supermarket have got their own brand and normally theirs is cheaper than the more popular brands. Thing is although i am still to do research on this, i think that it may not be very expensive to start a factoy that makes them. There are a few advantages to them as opposed to our canjeero. Firstly they have a longer shelf life Secondly as they are in mostly fortified with vitamins and minearals they are a much better feed for our population especially our children who are severely impacted by malnutrition. Thirdly because they can be industrially produced they are a much better value for money. Remember most parents will be poor even if peace were to come today and affordability is one of the things that will restrict access to proper nutrition and a balanced lifestyle. The first point alone should be a blessing to a nation such as ours. When food productions is adversely impacted by war and the ensuing chaos and our rainfall partern is also chaotic, the production and processing of foods that can be consumed instantly and have a longer shelf life at the same time is sure way of preventing food shortages. They also create market stabilty in my opinion as far as food goes. In Somalia the less the need to cook things the bette for us all. We use charcoal and wood and we get our wood probably by chopping down the few trees that we have left, contributing to desertification. Cornflakes and other flakes only need addition of milk and will thus save our environment. Another food that is not really a staple of ours but needs to be is fish. We have a very long coastline and rather than farming goats which are also said to contribute to soil erosion we can easily change to fish consumption. I personally considered it once but since fish goes bad quickly and our roads are either poor or non-existant, most of our towns and villages are cut off from this abundant source of food. It would probably be possible to set up shops with cool rooms and buy refridgerated trucks to supply them but this will only be economical when supplying coastal towns. I have a relative who lives in dubai who was also contemplating starting this kind of bussiness in mogadishu. That was in 2004 and i have not been in contact since then so i have no idea if he went ahead with it or not. The chances are however it will be a waste of money under current conditions. In all honesty peace must first prevail before anything can be attempted.
  2. I have this idea that i believe wont even need alot of money. It may need trust and the ability to work along agreed paths even when our sentimensts will push us to take sides. Well this is the idea. Firstly it is to build an information network-audio visual. Firstly a group of like minded individuals will be needed to start it all up. They will probably need to contribute each a sum of money ..not much ..merely as needed to get things started. Afterwards comes the hard part and that is to sell parts of the company to the somali public and thus increasse the pool of money. Although the situation in somalia is very difficult and dangerous, i am sure it wont be very hard to find honest individuals who can use a continuous income and are willing to gradually build themselves a career in journalism with maybe a little guidance. The thing is there can be an a continuous stream of video from our homeland and as the network builds trust among the civilians and the officials alike, they will be able to build bridges as well as dispell darkness. The somalis, both at home and in the diaspora, will be able to judge better for themselves and align their support with their interest. In the long run there is even a possibility of projecting back to the people their true identity thereby creating or working towards the creation of a proper nation. I am not ****** and i do understand that it will not be easy, especially trying to convince both the government and the rebels of their impartiality but i guess treading carefully, consistency and time can go along way in their attempt to curve out such a path. The sad part is that i think that it will be almost inevitable to avoid using the already establish form of network ie tribalism. Dont be alarmed please. The only way those networks will be avoided is by using only wadaados and their partialy will then be compromised. The thing is it is truely sad that there are almost no honest people to be found anywhere anymore except for the wadaados and they have already aligned themselves (or so is the general perception)with the rebels. Other than that obstacle which is not a small one, it is plausible i think. This ,even if it were to work, will most likely not be profitable in the short run but in the long run, provided the company can withstand the differest forms of destructive pressures, will probably have rewards on many levels not only in terms of cash but also the power to influence others and it that is used righty spiritual rewards and honour awaits the victors. What do you guys think..i know i know a load of over optimistic rubish.

Emperor Well that was a comprehensive look... much obliged. I know not much about Islam so my view is simply from common sencse. Firstly i do not understand as to WHY this government is not seen by many as ours. Even if after the long walk (this government was long in the making)and the subsequent formation of the TGF, which in my opinion was as representative as it could get for us(we are tribaly devided whether we like it or not and the west is regionally devided so they elect from counties or regions and we from tribes),some decided that it wasnt for them should they then not wait until the end of term. In the UK now the tories are more representative of the public as the local elections show ,yet they cant already oust the labour government can they now ? It is the general elections that decide that. Shouldnt we then see those that are not willing to follow procedures and readily resort to violence as the ones in the wrong ? I think it is chaos that we ought to avoid more than anything else. Chaos kills more than any invading army can, and alshabaab insist on disruptions of order. ALLAAHU ACLAM.
  4. I condemn the USA attacks on our soil. They should respect our sovereingnty and just as they would, am sure, think twice about bombing other stronger nations in order to kill one individual, they should do the same with weaker nations, if only out of respect for international law and order. USA should stop any further bombings alltogether. I personally wouldnt mind if they aided our ailing TFG financially and militarily by supplying necessities. Apart from that its hands off please- let us deal with our own problems.
  5. If it the west are involved it will probably be another rip off JB aakhiro aan joogaa aa. Maxaa aduunkii daaray saaxiib.
  6. Baashi iyo Abu geeljire Apologies but here is the videos i was on about. ENJOY THEM. Its not only oil that is at the end of the line, the world as you now know it is probably also. Watch them all though.

Who are dabodhilifs. I am i seen as one. Anyway the idea of democracy gets me laughing every time it comes to my mind. Like a game ..pick any.. there are rules and losers and winners are decided stricktly within the rules. Say for instance there are a hundred people and two options ...much like our situation now. Say the choices of about eighty of them dont count and are thus not qualified. Of the rest twenty say five arent bothered and will leave with either choice. The fifteen left are now equally devided into two sevens and the fate of the enty country now rests entirely on the one left. Whichever sides he endorses by his vote comes into power and their agenda must then be carried out by everydoby else howeve much they dont like it. There citizen live longer ,have their children educated and basickly life goes on...until they can all repeat the entire cycle again. The ones who take things too seriously will never agree. People will never gallop forward in perfect unison. To differ is in the nature of things. Must then always live either under lots of stress and loose lifes and property and future. Brother positve has a very good signature it says life is a journey be a happy traveller or something like that. Laboxinoonyood Say that we cannto convince each other. It may be true that sometimes only by aggression will you gain your peace and according to you this is such a time and i am of the believe that this is not such a time and that war will we cannot afford especially when peace has not been given a chance. To go to war gives no other alternative for the kind of life that i want or the methords of attaining them (your stance) but to try peace will not only give you your a chance to try out things your way should mine fail. And dear friend please use words that wont need alot of looking up and ideas that are easy to digest. Who must then go first ..you or me.

    Al-Shabaab

I enjoyed alot reading labaxiniinyood and che guevara's defense of alshabaab. GOD BLESS. I am however of the believe that infact they are the problem. I want the ethiopians to leave just as much as everybody else but i am convinced that they shall not leave as long as they can claim that it is in their interest to stay. There is a new way to defense now and it is kill them before they grow as Bob Marley said. You have all withness the arguement for irag war and so was one of the reasons to the ethiopian invasion. In short if you are weak you will get attacked with any attempt to gain power. Look at the non proliferation. Those that have nuclear weapons can retain them and use them as a leverage but those that dont cant even have them. You now argue that this is not my government and you work right into a trap tha will weaken yourself. You are fighting your own government making it weak. You the alshabaab supporter are your own enemy. The arguements are almost all the time sentimental, the conditions they create -war- eliminates the use of reason. Under fight or flight mode instincts take over. In order for us to even think we need the rigtht conditions and they are taking away from us. What would then really happen were we to surrender as some would like to call it? Remember the results are real reasons as to why any action is validated or not. Well many would like to make you believe that we would be taken over for ever. We would lose our homeland, our freedom along with our dignity and that we will all be serfs in our own homeland. My predictions come up with a different scenario. Firstly the ethiopians will most probably leave if what brought them there in the first place is not there anymore. Should they they wish to stay the chances are that they will now encounter a force so strong they will not be able to hold their grip. This is because remember the old saying devided we fall, united we stand. This act will unite all somalis regardless and the glue that sticks us together will be so strong, our actions will be coordinatedd that our possible impact is enough to scare them. Remember a great number of their own population is somalis and an even greater number muslims and the chances of unrest at home will be multiplied. The international community will have no choice but to sympatise with us having shown a clear intent to peaceful means. In short pressures will build from all sides the strongest of which will the one we can then exert as a unified force. Now as to the fear that we will always be ruled by warlords, the answer is the likely chance of that happening is also very small. Our government is very weak and is highly dependent of foreign aid. You may have noticed that war on terror is really a war to democratise the world, and the donors are again mostly the west the perpetrators of this war for democracy. To even get aid they will have no choice in my opinion but accept democracy..meaning elections by citizens. If then the citizens choose otherwise, in all probability so will it then be. Of course non of us can see the future so non of us can predict what the results of the most dreaded action -to surrender-will be. It is however prudent to consider the actions will the least worse consequenses first and give them a try if plausible.
  10. Geeljire Saxiib i think alshabaab should lay down their weapons, denounce violence henceforth and concentrate thier energy on finding solutions to our problems. The war would then stop The ethiopians will go home All will be peace What do you think saxiib
  11. War dadoow ma dagaal baa maanta meesha kasocda mise anaa umooday. See wax ujiraan saaxiibtinimadii aaway
  12. It is sad to see that tribalism has raised back up again its ugly head. For a time it was all peace and we were all argueing ideas and there seemed to be hope altleast for you youngsters or so i thought. I still still believe that alshaabaab are now the problem but it is not a tribe thing. It was tribalism before ..sure but now it is the wadaado who feel they ought to rule by all means. Those that believe alshabaab are the way forward are mistaken in my opinion and labaxinoonyoods arguement in their support very good one at that. The thing is i cant understand why we must not accept this government as ours. It is not like it is made up of one tribe. And why are we still trying to solve problems with methords that cause us more harm while their are still other options available?
  13. Walaal positive fakrado fiicfiican baad soo jeedisay. Somaliya iyo soomaalida oo dhan meel walba ay joogto waxaad moodaa in aysan wali bislaan. Nabadgalyada waxay tahay ama waxay tarikarto , dadku wali uma cadaan. Waxaan maqli jiray,” meel haday kuu cadahay meelbaa kaamadaw”. Somalida ila hada wali kulaylkii qashinkii nagamawada gubin. Waxaan qiyaasayaa jaa hada qofwalba oo Somali ah khaati in uu joogo oo diyaar uu uyahay in uu dhaho “anigu dagaal marabi! Waxii aad dagaal igusoo dhicinlahayd nabad iigusoo dhici ama igahayso” Dagaal markii lawada ogaado wiil in uusan kudhalan ee wiil un uu kudhinto, ninwalbana ciyaalkiisa iyo cidiisa nolol uu lajeclaado oo dadka oo dan ay hal meed kasoo wada jeestaan ayaa runtii laisla meeldigikaraa. War dhamaanay ee saan talo ma’aha. Runtii waa xaaqiiq maanta waxa noo noqotay anagoo dhan; dil iyo dagaal in ay waxwalba xal unoqoto, burbur iyo baaba’ in aan caadaysano, baahi , baas joogta ah iyo bahal ayaa ayagana dhinac nagaleefay. Dalkii dhamaa dalkii waa udhamaatay markaasay rabaan in ay nagadhaadhiciyaan in ay wali dagaal Somali dan ugu jirto. Anigu kayeeli mayo. Talo adaa kunool ee ayada kugumanoola soo lama oranjirin. Talooyinkaaga kuwa fiican bay ahaayeen saxiib. Wixii hore hada tage. Hada iyo kadib. Si aysan khasaaradeena maalinba maalintakale ugasii badan, waa in aan meel aan wax kabilawno helno. Markaas kadibna tilaaba walba anagoo kafiirsanayna meeshaan kaqaadayno iyo meeshaan digidoono tartiib waa in aan horay ugu socono. Galaal ninkii fiirsha nagamid ma’aha. Waxaan kawadaa xal dhibaatada dalkeena iyo dadkeena haysata ma’ahane wax kale wakhti iyo tabar toona uma hayno. Waxaan kasii wadaa dib ugocosho iyo waxyaalaha lamidka ah, wa in marka hore meel laiska dhigo. SIDAY ANIGA ILA TAHAY. Bilow. marka hore waa in dagaal dambe aan laqaadin siiba shacabka. Doorashada soosocota insha ALLAH hadii ayaga ay guulaystaan oo xaqdaro looga dhaco guusha, dee markaas hadii aysan dadka somaliyeed oo dhan isla kacin waxlayaableh ayay noqon doontaa baan umalayn anigu. Labaad Waxa laisugu yimaada waa nidaam. Ninkii waxgarad ahna wuu ogyahay nidaamla’aan waa fidno socota . Nidaamka marka waa in qofwalba uu isku xilsaaro in uu xoojiyo. Maguulaysan wayday? Dib isugu noqo, isa soo habee, meelaha banaan buuxi oo adigoo diyaar ah marka kale soo halgan. Kuweena ugu garashada badan waa in ay noqdaan kuwa ugu dulqaadka badan, uguna fakrad iyo fiiro dheer. Gaashaanka ma’aha in lagu aadiyo kuwii fakradaheena nagu raajiwaaya ama kabasoo horjeesta oo dood kugula dagaalama, ee kuwa nacamlaynta kudheereeya iyo dabanaagayska ayaa kuhaboon in laiska gaashaamo. Madaxweyne hore oo maraykanka J.FKennedi oo dalka ayaa hada kahor wuxuu yiri baa layiri “hawaydiin dalkaaga wuxuu adiga kutari karo ee waxaa waydiisaa waxaad adiga dalkaaga utarikartid.” Somaali walba iyo afrikada oo dhan waxaa faced kareebtay waa fakriad ah yaan lagaa boobin! Intuu asaga maalilahaa maan anigu maalo oo meelaysto! Iyo fakrado lamid ah. Talidii madaxweyne JFK aan raacno. Suaasha hada kadib waa in noqoto “maxaan dalkayga uqaban karaa” Walaalkeen positive ayaa arintaan dhameeyay. Marhore buu kalatuuray, anigu waxayga waa suubis. Waxaan filanayaa laakiin suugadayda in dad aan rabin oo badan ay jiraan. Sidaa rabtid saxanka u suugayso, markii ay baahi kuahyso, waa qasab in aad wax cuntid, hadii kale geeri baa kusugaysa. Maanta soomalida baahidooda waa nabad, ama dadkaaga duliga ah dayso ama dagaal kujir waligaa, dayso ayaa aniga ila mudan. TFG ga ayaan haystay.

Malika thanks again You are right and sorry to brother Nur for discussing other things. Its "Islam Inside".
