Orgiswallower, thanks for that candid PM,kkkkk but, am free from gold diggers,so I think you should post it for the entire Faraxternity in the diaspora & the larger male populace Rowda, you probably missed the part where I said 'thin wallet' eh. Some women are indeed parastic to the core, that they will milk a farax off his last penny. Watch out now Waterfalls: More like ruffin her

I had a fantastic year CW. It was probably the most uneventful year thus far for me. Nothing major or any life changing episodes in my drama plenty life this year[Alxamdulilah,I hope I don’t jinx myself]. For the first time in many yrs, I have finnaly broken a jinx that has dodged me for the past 10yrs. Otherwise it was mostly a very boring year to say the least. And oh yeah, the only sad event this year was not being able to meet this very interesting[special person]. Oh well…..
-
^^ I have not thought about that. Not really a bad idea

So how does one differentiete between the innocent hard working xalimos vs the Gold diggers? To protect your thin wallet, you must be on the watch out for these carnivores. They will eat you, your checking account and your wallet. Since I have been sentenced by the 5.6 Farax Club for violating some rules, I was asked to perfrom some community service. What better way to help the community than to get rid of these potential parasitic humanoids also known as Gold diggers? How to spot a gold digger - Lesson 1 Beware IF: 1 She has no job 2. Wears expensive brand name clothes & jewelry 3 drives a nice expensive car. Then you are probably looking at one. One more thing: Don’t listen to her when she uses phrases like, " I aint a gold digger, but I don’t want a broke nigga" or "am not a gold digger, but I appreciete the finer things in life". Two words for her: Dibi Xaarkiis

McPharax: saaxib think of me as the candidate with the most billboards on the freeway. Not the reason i picked you. And i think its unfair of you to pick LSK for a yearly award. This website is perhaps the premier website for somalis. I wouldnt relegate this man to this kinda awards sxb [Hanif hows that for a suck up?]

Other than freindship[And perhaps philosophical attachement],I do not see in my opinion any significant contribution from S/B that would make him SOL's Person of the year .

This Annual pick a Nomad Extravaganza is nothing more than freindship affirmation. For instance, why would JB vote for Socod-Badne? What contribution Has S/Badne come up with that was significant enough to warrant him a nomination?...I think am gonna stop here. Btw No pun to socodbadne,i just picked you as an example. I personally nominate Castro . Even tho he came halfway thru the semester,he gets my vote.I do not perhaps agree with him on almost every issue debated here, but i think he probably is the reason why Sol has transformed[No Pun Admin]

^^ Top 20 of what language/Genre? I have a Hmong romantic song in mind if you need it

^What the hell has this to do with the topic? Besides the white woman has baasto hands Allah ya raxmah for the kid. This, am sure is an isolated case.We all went thru the dugsi system and some of us[i have reservations abt flipmode]made it. Jimca Lee

^HeHe. At the rate technology and businesses are going, dont be suprised to see the extinction of 'Grocery stores'. Theres a difference between patience & lack of foresight adeer. Patience kulaha,Patience my Mat*ko[Copy write: Sheh]
-
But let eedo Macleey run her messy store, and adeer Shoonbe run his Xalaal store. In the end these messy stores will transform in to trendy malls and Xalaal stores in to grocery chains Now you are talking! When is this transformation coming? That is what i was ranting about. The same store that was operating in my neighborhood for the past 10yrs,is still in operation. It hasnt changed much, let alone expand. They have not even expanded the selection of merchandise. But in the meantime, several pop & mom xalaal stores have opened up,none[Zero,Zilch] has over taken the original store. If the original xalaal store hasnt expanded & just looks like a dukaan in buula xuubey, with a 1980s look in a 21st century country, with a 21st century clientele, surely thats not progress? especially after almost 10yrs in business. Come on,Good is B Grade,i am looking for an A+
-
^ Why must we settle for GOOD? What about excellent? Exceptional?? There should be,NO? Edit: Stoic Thanks, but i dont eat beef. How about a plate of Baris & hilib Ari?

LoooL. The hell i know? Thats the million dollar question. I am not suprised though its a project from a somali person intended for a somali person. There is no progress for somalis,. THE whole concept of progression and expansion is lacking,no ambition for the 'Next episode'. Everything is basic, theres hardly any sense of uniqueness or creativity and its not limited to websites. Have a look at any somali run business. From Maqayads to the music & movie industry to Bacadlehs to websites, Xawilaads and Xalal stores; Nothing ever seems to move upward. But they are not short of bringing new replicas of the exact kind of venture that is exactly opposite the other one.And when i say replica, its just not the business idea, its the whole nineyards. The interior design, the color, the message, the fonts for the banner, the counters, the shelves everything. They even hire the same contractor[Who mind you seems to have one blueprint for his work] to handle the ground work. The result: 100 or so identical [Poorly run]businesses all striving for one common customer. This lack of adroitness is perhaps genetics or culture or some kind of a combination between the two. And it also extends to how the entire somali culture works. Perhaps we are not cut for a 21st century world. Perhaps, we are just not progressive in nature. Perhaps,we are just still in miyi, even tho' we are sophisticated on the outside. Or maybe not...I dont know, am sprung . [i dont blame me,after all i am a somali] For once,i would like to get down to the root causes of these kind of behavariol business ethics. A commercial solution for a lifeless & stifling businessmen and women. Any one? Ps.There goes my 1000th post
-
. So in that event, if they don't wish to hook up with a less than stellar Farax - can't really blame them. And I find it sad as a Farax myself Go Shoot yourself then. Ahura; You have been preaching these faraxs for the past N yrs.Perhaps you should make a generic responce and save it in the sol archives, and pull it out whenever its needed. I have never been a fan of such topics

Move dude. Move. The neighbors and their rowdy kids can stay. I'm gone. Face them kulaha. Atheer dantayda icuslaysay HaHaHa ...Atheer When will you stop moving? when you see yourself in the middle of Alejandro Jose's land? If some kids think he can come around my block & pull that 'hustler' sh1t;rest assured i make him hustle for his life. I aint gonna move,i make em move.
-
Atheer, mama Anab and her friends can stay in the ghetto if they so wish. I'm moving out. I will not move 100 miles away but to a decent neighborhood of hardworking, blue collar folk like myself. Ones who care about their children by doing the following I feel you Castro, but what happens if the same neighborhood gets infected? Will you then move and look for another community? You cant possibly keep running away;Maybe you can, i personally wont. Its not in my nature to run away from stuff,i face them head on. I am not saying one shouldnt do the list you populated up there. Its every parents responsibilty anyway. But you do not have control over what goes on in the house next door.If them kids are running around unsupervised, its gonna somehow spill over to the rest of the neighborhood or neighboring kids. Besides this case is a little different, most of the somalis are distant relatives. even if they are not relatives, still the sense of somalinimo is still there. Mama Heblayo's kid haduu cunug xun noqdo, mama heblayo and atheer hebel will feel for them. You actually do have a point about progressive somalis doing better than those in concetrated areas. It probably has to do alot with the welfare system. The further away one somali is from the rest of the pack, the better he seems to be doing. it might be as well that the somali who is nnot amongst his folks emulates the folks around him. Its one thing that i guess social scienctist have to figure out,i am actually curious

It takes a village to raise a child didn't mean let the village worry about my kids coz I'm off chillin' somewhere. Edited: Xiin waakii soo xiimayee xaguu maray talow? Sxb,lol so long as you agree its not rubbish,we cool. Your earlier stance potrayed an aloof man. Came across as an Cadaan Republican kinda dude.Uncharacteristic of a commy. I dont think you can approach this somali issue just like the cadaan folks. They move away from xaafad to xaafad at the slightest sight of madow like behavior instead of being a part of the community. Their search for the perfect community leads them to isolation and a commute of upto 100 freaking miles to work. I have no problem with it,if that is what someone wants. But are you gonna keep running away, till you find the "perfect" neighborhood? Its probably a good idea to worry about your own problems Castro ,but how are you gonna raise kids in a neigborhood where the next door neighbors' kids are selling dope?. Its either you move away[Which is not a bad idea] or try to fix it. I know they are not oblidged to take a part in the safe guarding the neighborhood, but you would think its a better option. Mama Anab & the rest of the Rochesterians i am sure cant afford to move away from those subsidised govt houses, they probably wont even if they did. So how does one solve an internal issue? How would you have raised kids in rough neighborhood? Xiin;I think Castro is daring you man. Dont let me down.
-
^^LoooL@ Xiin. Atheer my child is my child. When I die, you can help. As long as I live, you ain't got to worry about her. And few of those drug dealer kids are orphans. They all have Anab, Asha and Maryan as mothers but, unfortunately, no Faarax, Muuse and Cali to go with them Thats commendable; We wouldnt need Maama Anab if every farax took responsibility of his kids maaha? If everyone was as determined as you,or had the foresight, strength and resolve as you;well surely there will be no need for all these community based organizations right? The fact that they are in existence and prooven to have worked is in itself an indication that something is not going right. Unfortunatly the situation in rochester and many other cities has reached at the stage where the families were unable to handle it. Somali baa hor ku maah maahday something like: "Hal far fool ma dhaqdo" . The more the merrier sxbow. I Repeat it is not "RUBBISH"

I'm going to save my kids, why I came here, yeah, civil war." War dadyahow naftiina iyo reerkina nin walba ha ka adkaado. Forget this community rubbish you're chasing. Most of these 'community' members all hail from one clan or region back in somalia. . The reason they congregated in small towns in the first place is wehel and a sense of qaraabanimo. The larger reason of settling in places with higher somali populations is mainly in aad 'dadkaada ag joogtid'[For dugsi, food, culture and all that]. Every community plays a role in raising a child. Even in non immigrant communities, theY play a role. Be it mentoring a child, neighborhood watches, adopting a street or even adopting a child, the community has a role. They have worked for the most part. Some of these communities are internationally recognised, endorsed by celebrities and national figures alike. They get extensive support from the federal government & wellwishers. UnitedWay leads the way, partnership for drugfree america,Bigbrother Bigsister ,mentor a child ,YMCA/YWCA, Boys scouts are just but a few examples. Its not "rubbish" as you put. It is part and parcel of strengthening communities. And somali communities more than any other needs this the most. Yes:Its every family's job to raise a child, but as the old adage goes, 'it takes a village to raise a child'. Most of these somali communities are an extention of some buulo back from somalia.[As I have said in my opening line]. My child is your child. If Eedo Culuso's child is selling drugs, its as if eedo cajabo's son did it. It has always been like that,it will always be as such. The zipcodes might have changed, but somaliyeey the concept is still alive. Lets applaude this & if you can, lets contribute to it. Heblow Fitzgerald aint gonna do it, so let Mama Anab and her likes handle it.
