May Allah grant 'em his mercy whoever they are.
It is sad to see that even the dead are used as propoganda tools. Yesterdays was the SNM's celebration and suddenly here appears a mass grave of unknown dead people.
Whose remains are these? No one knows
How did they die? No one knows
How long were they in there? No one knows
But some are too eager to reach conclusion. This may do more damage your cause than help it.

We all know Osama's Alqaida was established trained and supported by the CIA in the 80's against Russia.
We also know since the US and its allies have used alleged Al-Qaida ties to as an excuse attack Iraq and bomb Somalia...! Few events within Somalia made me question is the ICU itself is a CIA agency.
1) With its unmanned airplanes the CIA could've killed many Somalis it accuses of terrorism but didn't.
2) After fleeing to Kenya Sheikh Sharif was protected, and taken care of by the US and even met its ambassador in Nairobi.
3) Was flown to Yemen and is in Eritrea now to oversee suicide missions and assassinations in Somalia.
How do these supposedly wanted terrorist can go freely in Somalia and else where if they don't work for the CIA?

How to defeat any government you don't like...
1) Make them accountable.
2) Report everything they do.
3) Be accurate, factual...in your reporting.
4) Since you (people living abroad) send money to your
Suldaan, Ugaas, Malaaq... convinced/persuade them that they look out for the interest of their country.
5) protest...protest...protest.
6) Be just and active... Justice, humility and IMAN
and good moral should be your guide.

Sad but true. I've experienced that myself.
In my case there were actually people that were making money from the number of people that sat in their center. More people meant more money. Kids that needed tutoring received none, and adults that went there to improve their English language skills eventually gave it up. So the suspicion is legitimate. But I found a way to overcome that and here it is...
1) Public schools will love to have after school tutor that the Somali kids/young adults can relate to it. That way you and your peers will not only help them with school but also be a role model. A lot of us didn't/don't have support in this area...our experiences will help them have a better future.
2) Local Masjids also offer youth programs...volunteering there will be an ideal if the school is not an option.

" Medical Biochemistry" is very impressive and your dream of going back home and helping Somalia and somali is equally impressive. Thank you for sharing it in here and may Allah help you in that task.
In the mean time you can help your fellow Somalis in the following way...
1) Volunteer in your community, after school tutoring, tell parents about college preps, benefits...etc. If there is no such thing in your community start I'm sure there are a lot more brothers and sisters like you in your community
2)Be active in your local community, masjid, your home, your Neighbor, relatives...improve others education, hopes as much as you can.

Did you really expected that the TFG was going to change anything? As long as their positions of power they'll not care about what happens to the average person. So look for the return of Isbaarooyin who'll try to make up for their lost revenues. Yalaxoow is the only Isbaaro CEO who left Somalia, and I'm sure he is on his way back.

Many Somalis had their suspicions about ICU's goal. Its leadership consisted of characters known in the eyes of many Somalis far from what the courts where telling people. Ultimately these characters killed the ICU.
"Gaal dil gartiisana sii" ICU did clean up Mogadishu for warlords and isbaarooyin collected guns from private citizenswhich wasn't easy. Banned khat, promised to give back homes in the city. But for every good deed they've done, they made sure to undermine it.
Few examples :
Qanyare.. etc who were leaching Mogadishu were chased out, their weapons confiscated, and their militia joined the ICU.
Indhocade...etc who were leaching Kismaio, Marka before the ICU were given high positions in the Islamic courts.
Abdiqasim..etc could have "body guards" and their technicals in Mogadishu, but Ali Mohamed had to ride back a motorcycle after his "body guards" and technicals were confiscated.
Afgoi...etc were run by the same characters that occupied before ICU but they were left alone, while regime change was sought areas far way from Mogadishu --Puntland and Somalia.
These are just examples, I'm sure there are many more. Mohamed Dheere is in Jawhar, I'm sure Qanyare and company will be back and things will once be like they were. So many lives wasted for nothing may Allah grant them mercy.
ICU's start and finish is a testimonny that Somalis will never tolerate injustice as they've in the past.
They highlighted flaws in Somali politics, and we should be suspicious of any government, movement, entity that is not just.

Numerous individuals from Somalia's other clans and subclans make up the body. These people either were paid money, saw the ICU as a religious movement, or have personal reasons for supporting the ICU. In return these individuals legitimize the ICU's expansion.
Terms ICU uses to justify their expansion
Liberation/Xoreyn -- ICU used it to justify attacking and occupying Jawhar...Bandiiradleey.
Stop possible foreign invasion -- ICU used it to justify attacking and capturing Kismaio ...Gedo
Removal of an oppressive individual/entity -- ICU used to justify attacking Mudug.
Jihad -- ICU is using it to justify its expansion towards Baidoa.
Cities and small towns in Kismaio --- to --Afgio and Afgio --- to Buurhakaba are untouched by ICU. There people in these areas that wish for liberation, and Islamic justice. There has been foreign troops in these cities and towns since CARTA government, which needs removal. And clans and subclans that are not members of ICU's brain are oppressed and need to be free.
Jihaad is a noble action and no Muslim shouldn't support any group that themselves violated Islamic principles.
