    with each passing day i ponder at my circumsatances.

    The nights filled with love and heart penetrating glances.

    I would trade in all my treasures to hold u again.

    like the sun u shined upon my heart only to disappear and push forth the rain.

    they say good things come but cease to last..

    had i only known true love would be forever gone and be a thing of the past.

    How could it be?

     

    Happy days of enjoying life in the horn of the mother land.

     

    All were brothers and hate never came between me and the other man.

     

    All was good in our blue and white uniform heading for school.

     

    Neighbors smiling and sharing stories with humour, as laughter filled the air.

     

    Sheep and hens ran freely through the roads as the call to prayer echoed through the land.

     

    The markets were crowded as transactions were made with a smile.

     

    Suddenly the laughter turned into tears,

    complete chaos and utter fear.

     

    Deafening blasts echoed through the land,

    killing ran rampant as kids turned wide eyed

    asking mama what happened.

     

    All was shattered and gun play became the one way to get respect.

     

    What happened to negotiating and dealing using our intellect.

     

    We dream of the day when the home of the nomad

    will have unity and raise the blue and white flag with pride.

     

    Until then, we'll pray to the almighty Allah to improve our condition.

    her scent was carried by the winds.

    with a touch that would make a lion's heart melt.

    she walked with glamour and her hips played music

    her smile shined like the sun in june.

     

    only a fool would do her wrong.

    and a fool is what i was

    the one who brought me joy suddenly brought me pain

    never to feel her touch again.

    they say all good things come to an end

    i lost the queen of my heart, a true friend

     

    as i walk tall and hide the fact, im a broken man

    and the winds carry your scent no more.

    I know it sounds harsh bro but he is a young guy bro.. if i leave him be, he might get himself in serious trouble. By telling his parents, it might have them worried or angry but it'll wear off.He'll feel betrayed but if I let him go about his ways i'll feel like a true betrayer.

    I have a relative who im afraid that their crimes might get them in trouble with the law. Should I expose him to his parents whom he respects or just advice him though he won't revert from his criminal ways.Please share your minds brothers and sisters.

    Question for Nur..

     

    I don't mean to get off topic here, since you probably intended this page for topics about Ramathan.

     

    I was wondering walal.. If someone receives items knowing that their sources are Xaraam (stolen or scams). What steps should be taken to rectify the matter, and should the items be thrown out or kept.

     

    Your response will be greatly appreciated.

    i just want to add that i have a really hard time keeping in touch.except for my immediate family.i do not even call to say hi, i feel guilty sometimes and say to myself 'there's too many to stay in touch with and don't even bother.as far as helping those in need, i try to help when asked.
