    There's nuttin wrong w/ cleansing yourself but the extremes my fellow sisters take is beyond insanity. Allah gaved us a pure natural color that others wish to have and we go and abuse that ish like it's nothing, wsup with that? As though, being lighter means more beautiful...shout..since when did you see a white person without a tan...since they too are tryna be like something they aint..so why you tryna and be like em when in fact they dont wanna be themselves,,someone explain that analogy to me please. Well all i can say is, lets preserve our true colors cuz once you go white you nava come back to your beautful licious black self. Think twice before you're skin developes some sort of skin cancer...

    2real i recommend you sit with a someone whose in full knowledge with this topic, preferbly a relgious person, or take a trip to your local masjid and inqure further knowlegde. I dont believe that any of us can provide a vivid answer, so try and expand the process . Hope the best for you, and keep the faith of allah going cuz w/out it there is no hope, and without hope we enter insanity and that's just not "us" muslims. --prayerz

    Ilhaam Raptors got nuttin on Lakers, the sooner you realize that you canadaians have no shot the better hon. Oh the real thou, dont let come out as a disrespect but Vince Carter is aight but in comparision to my man Kobe Bryant...he stands not even a squuad. Let the records do the talking..lakers held it down for consective years and will in diffiently add 2003 to their records. Just keep it real .........

     

    p.s Gediid, last nite was their first game spurs v.s lakers...i'm not sure who won but keep me informed but i'll bet you that the lakers will destory the spurs.

    Honestly i might have when i was younger but right now where am at in my life, i cant see being with someone other then somalian. Just because, they know our cultural, understand our roots,peeps,relgion, inside somali jokes etc w/out sounding racist, you know what am saying. BUT with the trials and tribulation, i did have to stand by my black brotha's, somalian soldiers ...lite,dark skinned whateva na'mean. Mocalatta..lol i'm on some realness nowadayz dang...expressin w/out the hesistation lool. Anywho keep tworlin ight...

    It could be that somalian girls have morals and conscience which isnt shown in many other enthicities...eh for all you yound g's...keep your prayers and connection w/ the faith cuz thats the best way one can surpass all this nonesense...one question thou, why is that a somalian sistah posts such threads? Are you thinkin of doing it, if so, think twice w/ all these dieases thats going around can get you killed, hurt you family and definetly hurt your place in allah's heart s.w.t....once again, think twice....but hey if you ever need a advice or have any concerns concering anything...let your older sistah's knoe by privating us, am sure my fellow sisters would be up for helping our younger sistah's and same goes for the brotha's too..eva concerned..holla at your older brotha's..its a therapty walaahi, aint like they ever know the real you na'mean..if it helps use a fake location, name etc...whateva you be comfortable...until wheneva...stay solid

    HOLD UP...HOOOLLLDDD UP. AM I MISTAKEN OR DO I SEE MY NOMADS BASHING MY BEAUTIFUL LAKERS. JUST BECAUSE SOME OF YOU MAY NOT LIKE KOBE OR SHAQ FOR THAT MATTER DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD HATE ON THE WHOLE TEAM AND THEIR TALENTS. WE HELD IT DOWN FOR 3-4YRS , YOU CANT DENY THAT.     Pimpstress hon not all somalians think alike or act alike for that matter. I'understand in your circumstances, meeting the rite type of somalians whom in fact are the same age or intel level is hard,but that shouldnt stop you from kicking it with your non-somalian friends. I personally believe that its the individual who makes their decision whether the effects influence you or not are give and take..never sure of na'mean. I know what you feel, i lived in a state where there werent that many somalians to chill w/ and the onces that were ,were either drugez,hoes, or had some sort of other bad repitation and i choose not to surrouund myself w/ that kind crab..so moral of the story is, if you cant find somalians of your level and indeed you find it w/ non-somalians then eh, you make em your friends. The only reason why somalians might give you an eye here or there if you're w/ a non-somalian is simply because they have this mentality that you will lose your culture and relgion (and sad to say but in most cases its true..if the indivual so chooses it to happen) But if you keep both ends at a balance, you'll be fine...just dont forget your roots n faith...until whenever...holla (hope that helped somewhat)

    Khayr i've heard and seen few brothers who in fact got to same point as you. But as my sister above stated, you gotta live realistically and if you think marrying a girl back home is good then eh all the reasons why you should na'mean. But dont let the few that you seen make a huge impression of "somali females" cuz not all of us are the same. Anywho, i've a lot to say on this subject but i'll come back and fill my centz inshallah later on .

    I've been flip floppying on which major to stick by but as of now i'm looking into psychology as i fullfil my pharmacy prequisites.
