    :(

hahahaha! this is the funniest thing I've read in a while.

Perhaps the problem lies in the faraax's mentality...?
    ^^^Are you scared?
    ;)
    of?

  2. The liberation of women in Islam is far superior to Western liberation as it allows women to live with respect, dignity and equality in society.

Maybe we ought to be discussing whether muslims are practicing true Islam. Because the way some muslims treat their womenfolk is hardly respectful, dignified or equal. So I dont think it's the west that you have to be convincing here...

This sort of topic is getting quite tired. Can't we just bump the old threads up and contribute to those instead?

LMAO..hands down the best excuse I have heard for not wearing hijab

    the nerve
Uhmm, I havent stated a reason why, even though Nur tried to come to his own conclusion, so I dont understand what you mean by excuse.

You seem a little disgruntled. Actually, we live at a time where there is such a thing as DOMESTIC ABUSE. The law isn't pro-fem, but to ensure that when a woman calls the police because her man is beating her upside her head, that they can actually protect her from this abuse.

This isn't directed towards anybody, but I just want to tell you that it's not wise to say anything about the religion if you have no knowledge of it, you should be asking questions instead of going into explaination of the difference between the Qur'an and the Hadith.

The Quran and the Hadith are the two sides of the same coin. The hadith is the words of the Prophet explaining in full detail the words of the all mighty. They are insaprateple, to seperate them is a huge error. Once again for those of you who are trying to make us believe the hadith has nothing to do with the Quran. The Quran and the hadith are in full agreement with each other to say otherwise is like saying Prophet Muhammed brought his own faith and his teachings disagreed with what is in the Quran. Be careful and fear Allah and don't sin by creating wrong ideas with your minds. Read the Quran and Hadith and learn them before you start exposing your arogance on public forum. The non believers don't dare to utter such things, some nomads have found it easy to say garbage they have in their minds and put out there for us to read, what a bunch of morons this place holds.

    Assalamu Calaykum.

Allah made us human being, some who are more inclined to search for the truth and not accept what their forefather's drilled into their head since birth. There is nothing wrong with asking VALID questions and pointing out things that don't make sense and demanding some answers. It's human nature!

All you have to ask SB is does he
    pray and if yes, how?

That's the oldest trick in the book. Do you know how many times I heard that when asking about the aunthenticity of the Sunnah? It's a weak argument, because if the Sunnah (by way of Hadith) isn't aunthetic, that would make prayer statement not authentic as well.

I think this type of response is programmed into a lot of muslim minds when asked this q...

  7. African-American women are more susceptible to many type of diseases because of their environment. Oprah really did a great episode showcasing the poor of America and I was surprised to learn that 10,000 african americans are homesless EVERYDAY (majority of them being single mothers and their children). Most of the people here dont have high education and its extremely hard to find jobs in this area as well. Imagine living cheque to cheque and not having a support system when you suddenly lose your job.

  8. lol ok?

"You cant have one with out the other." Please prove this with a Quranic verse.

"Judging or being suspicious of a person's ways or intention is haram. Please lets refrain from that. jazakumulaha kheyran."

That goes for 99% of the threads on SOL. And I'm merely stating facts..I'm not actually a person persay. Jazakumulah Kheyr

  9. Blessed,

I wasnt under the impression that you were attacking my faith, but rather I was making a statement that because I dont cover my hair, that it may/may not make me any less of a muslim because only Allah can give that final verdict.

I agree that "The Quran is very clear about the hijaab, it's consists of an attitude, intention, not looking at forbidden things and most importantly covering up"

PI, you're missing the modesty of the inner self (as Blessed mentioned in the above post, and different from intention of wearing hijab on your head), and without that, it's really a joke.
