    I don't do character assassinations. My remark was intended to refute your claim that Somali girls do only nursing which is not true. Anyone who has gone to a university will know that the Somali girls are just as capable of doing any academic discipline as men.

    Hassan said nothing about the capability of Somali women. He simply inquired into his perceived lack of diversification. This is revealing of your personality. Creating issues of women capability out of thin air. a magician truly. What are you trying to get at? You are a socially conscious human? What is your final act of the night? Maybe you will "refute" SP's "claim" of the inferiority of the white panda

  2. You Want Me Pale- Alfonsina Storni

    You want me pale,

    Made of sea foam,

    A mother of pearl.

    Made of white lily,

    Untouched among the others.

    Made of thinning perfume.

    Petals sealed.

    Not touched by moonbeams,

    Not called ‘sister’ by the daisies.

    You want me like snow,

    You want me white,

    You want me pale.

    You have had all

    The cups in your hands,

    Flowing fruit and honey,

    Staining your lips dark.

    You have been in the banquet

    Laced with grapevines,

    Relinquishing your meat,

    Reveling in Bacchus.

    You have been in the gardens,

    Black with deception,

    Wearing red and

    Running into ruin.

    You have kept your

    Skeleton intact, and by

    Miracles I do not know,

    Still expect me to be white

    (God forgive you for it),

    Still expect me to be spotless

    (God forgive you for it),

    Still expect me to be pale.

    So flee into the woods,

    Run into the mountains;

    Clean your mouth;

    Live in a cottage;

    Touch the damp earth

    With your hands;

    Nourish your body with

    The bitter root;

    Drink, like Moses,

    From the rocks;

    Sleep upon the frost;

    Rejuvenate your flesh

    With saltpetre and water;

    Speak with the birds,

    Rise with the sun.

    And when your body

    Has returned to you,

    When it’s become entangled

    In the bedroom of your soul,

    Only then, good man,

    Can you expect me to be pale,

    Expect me to be snow,

    Expect me to be untouched.

    Tú Me Quieres Blanca

    Tú me quieres alba,

    Me quieres de espumas,

    Me quieres de nácar.

    Que sea azucena

    Sobre todas, casta.

    De perfume tenue.

    Corola cerrada

    Ni un rayo de luna

    Filtrado me haya.

    Ni una margarita

    Se diga mi hermana.

    Tú me quieres nívea,

    Tú me quieres blanca,

    Tú me quieres alba.

    Tú que hubiste todas

    Las copas a mano,

    De frutos y mieles

    Los labios morados.

    Tú que en el banquete

    Cubierto de pámpanos

    Dejaste las carnes

    Festejando a Baco.

    Tú que en los jardines

    Negros del Engaño

    Vestido de rojo

    Corriste al Estrago.

    Tú que el esqueleto

    Conservas intacto

    No sé todavía

    Por cuáles milagros,

    Me pretendes blanca

    (Dios te lo perdone),

    Me pretendes casta

    (Dios te lo perdone),

    ¡Me pretendes alba!

    Huye hacia los bosques,

    Vete a la montaña;

    Límpiate la boca;

    Vive en las cabañas;

    Toca con las manos

    La tierra mojada;

    Alimenta el cuerpo

    Con raíz amarga;

    Bebe de las rocas;

    Duerme sobre escarcha;

    Renueva tejidos

    Con salitre y agua;

    Habla con los pájaros

    Y lévate al alba.

    Y cuando las carnes

    Te sean tornadas,

    Y cuando hayas puesto

    En ellas el alma

    Que por las alcobas

    Se quedó enredada,

    Entonces, buen hombre,

    Preténdeme blanca,

    Preténdeme nívea,

    Preténdeme casta.

  3. This is something Puntland has been particularly successful with- the bringing to justice of disturbers of public order- whereas the federal government has failed miserably. This has been for the most part attributed to the vigilante and outspoken nature of the Puntland people. Though, this may very well be attributed to the low urban density compared to Mogadishu, which makes it easier to capture such perpetrators. Whatever it is, well done.

    Galmudug is to commended as well. This shall serve as a lesson to the power of coordination and cooperation on issues such as security.

  5. Hassan, I feel your little hospital gig is something akin to the movie Shutter Island, where you perceive yourself to be a worker when rather you yourself are the delusional patient.

    Alpha, I’d watch out for yourself. This one has a special thing for you. I am sure his bedroom looks something like this, with you in the center

  6. ^^Alpha I take notice to how you speak of me in general and ambiguous terms. no specific characteristics or adjectives. I am an enigma to you and for that you lash lol. Anyway hope you are well. Xamar is becoming less and less viable by the day. So my meel-gaar Kikuyu stay may end with me in H-town.

    Just came back from a night on the town. mediocre time but interesting nevertheless.

    I think I have withdrawn from music, so I will partake in this posting music tradition by posting the last song I recall liking.

    Kililka 5aad outside of Jijiga will always be questionable in terms of safety, and depends where exactly you're interested in going. There's a high security presence with Liyuu, military and other uniformed police folks, and the ONLF is around too. Why do you want to go to Hawd anyway?
