  1. Question: What is the truest definition of Globalization? Answer: Princess Diana's death. Question: How come? Answer: An English princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a French tunnel, driving a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgian who was drunk on Scottish whiskey, followed closely by Italian Paparazzi, on Japanese motorcycles, treated by an American doctor, using Brazilian medicines! And this is sent to you by a Canadian, using Bill Gates' technology and you are reading this on one of the IBM clones that use Taiwanese-made chips, and Korean-made monitors, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by lorries driven by Indians, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, trucked by Mexican illegal aliens, and finally sold to you. That, my friends, is Globalization!
  2. OG_Moti LoL! Yeah well the cat story is kinda funny. See I luv cats and I used to have one. There used to be this old ugly cat that used to hang out my house. He had one bad eye and one bad leg so he used to hop around with one leg. The toughest cat I've ever seen coz even if you hit him with a rock he wouldn't move and would stand there with one leg staring at you with his one eye. Anyways, him and I didn't like each other very much so one day I saw him humping my own cat in the back alley of our house. That little Ho gave it up to that ugly cat, I never forgave her after that. I was shocked. I was a little kid so I took it personal…. I killed him. About the chicken, we used to buy chicken/turkey alive and feed them until they become fat then kill them ourselves like we do with sheep. I didn't have the guts to do it all the time but I tried it once. It's very easy. You just (sorry) pull the neck until it snaps and that's it….you got yourself a dead chicken. Trust me you don't wanna hear my heartbreaking stories….they say a boy cries 100 times out of sorrow before he becomes a man. Let's just say I'm a man now.
  3. Cambodia man, u r crazy. So it's okay for KFC to kill millions of chicken every day but seeing one blue-eyed chicken get slapped around made you cry? If you add all the chicken I ate they would be in the hundreds. I'm not saying this for pride or anything but in my life I killed 1 chicken(pulled neck), 1 pigeon(shimbir laaye), 1 cat(with a stone). Ever seen how they cook Lobsters? They boil them alive and they try to escape by banging on the cover of the container until they die from the heat.
  4. Princess_Sexy: Yes you are. Is it me or all somali girls are starting to look alike....with that blonde highlight curly hair?
  5. Hey girls, a word of advice from a brother. Just use your natural assets, meaning if you're a pretty girl then you don't have to do anything. Just show up coz, unfortunately, first impressions are made through looks and body language so if you're pretty then, believe me, you will get attention no matter what and that's a fact no one can deny. On the other hand, if you look "a'ight" but you're smart and witty, then you need to talk to the guy. And so on….if you are a poet then right him a poem. If you can play pool, challenge him to a game of pool. If you can cook, fire up the grill. Just impress him by whatever you're good at. Remember though, this is just to get his attention. If you find yourself needing to impress this guy all the time, then he is probably not the man for you. Good luck.

  10. Of course cyber love can work. As long as you understand that it's only a starting point. Cyber love is just like puppy love…we do it to move on to better things. Just like any other love story, it goes sour most of the time but so what. At least it's cheap. What's worse is spending so much time and money with some one, physically, (and who knows, you might even fall in sin together) and after all realize that the person is not right for you!!!…that's a waste of time.
  11. Modesty, there's enough of us here in SOL living everywhere in the states. Let us know where you live. We will meet, say whazup, go out for coffee, and then we'll go take care of this dude. Me personally, I'll come and help you out if you are anywhere in Michigan. So who's covering the other states? Where the men of SOL at?

  19. Good stuff. Even the long cut&paste article by 'Lady' was nice to read through;) ....although we were driven off topic by my sarcastic remark about women being behind in technology. Ya'll almost bit my head off...it just shows that women are driven by emotion! It really doesn't matter which woman or man invented what...I was just interested in imagining how it would be if women where the leaders. For example, would USA be the most powerful nation in the world if the gender scenario was flipped? Would men be oppressed and denied equal rights if women had the power to do so? Etc.. And to all your women activists out there, here is a more suitable list of women leaders...read their history and you'll see that women are wicked. And to all who can read our holy Quran, all I have to say is "In'a Kaydahuna Adhiim" !!! Jeannette Rankin (1880-1973) was the first female member of the House of Representatives Nellie Tayloe Ross, governor of Wyoming, was the first woman governor of a state. Dr. Mae Jemison is the first woman of color to go into space. Madeleine Korbel Albright was the first and only female Secretary of State. By holding this position, Albright became the highest-ranking woman in the history of the United States government. Wilma Mankiller is the first female to lead a major Native American tribe, the Cherokee. Shirley Chisholm is the first African American woman elected to Congress. Condoleeza Rice is currently the first female National Security Adviser. Indira Ghandhi, the former prime minister of India was the first woman ever elected to lead a democracy. In 1988, Benazir Bhutto became Prime Minister of Pakistan, making her the first woman to head the government of an Islamic State.
  20. "so im wondering, what happens when the "unique" people start thinking alike" Well they should start sending private messages to each other and talk about how unique they really are no? ....playin'...I'm just jealous
  21. I went to this Somali jam in Minneapolis, I think it was September of last year. There was this group called guul band performing and they were really unique. They played Somali reggae, hiphop and classic songs too. Anyways, I'd luv to get in touch with these guys coz I play music myself. So if anyone knows their whereabouts please let me know……this would be a great favor.
  22. Exactly 120 miles max. hehehe ...Blackplanet members know what I'm talking about.
  23. Yes I'm different in real life. I mean sitting here typing on a keyboard is not the same as dealing with people. These days people change personalities like they change clothes. For example, the person I am at work, is different then the person I am at home. It bothers me but I can't help it.
  24. Hey opinionated, how about Tufaax? hehe No really, how about Tangerine
  25. raage what r u talking 'bout?
