Hargeysa (Somaliland.Org)- Madaxweynaha Somaliland Md. Axmed Maxamed Maxamuud (Siilaanyo), ayaa maanta xafiiskiisa ku qaabilay wefti ka socday dawlada Ingiriiska oo socdaal ku yimid dalka.

 

Sidaasna waxa lagu sheegay warsaxaafadeed uu soo saaray Afhayeenka Madaxtooyada Cabdilaahi Maxamed Daahir (Cukuse), waxaanu u qornaa sidan:-

 

“Madaxweynaha Somaliland Mudane Axmed Maxamed Maxamuud (Siilaanyo) waxa uu Maanta Qasriga Madaxtooyada ku qaabilay wefti 3 xubnood ka kooban oo ka socda safaarada ay dawlada Ingiriisku ku leedahay Addis Ababa.

Somaliland’s president confers with British Delegate

Hargeisa (JSLTimes)-The president of Somaliland Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud ‘Siilaanyo’ today confers with delegate from the British embassy in Ethiopia at the presidential palace.

 

According to a press release issued by the presidential spokesperson Mr. Abdilahi Mohamed Dahir ‘Cukuse’ and it was written in this way:-

 

“The president of Somaliland Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud ‘Siilaanyo’ today confers with delegation from the British embassy in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. The meeting took place at the presidential palace in Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland.”

 

The British delegation was headed by Chris Allan who is the deputy head of an organization by the name of MSIISIO, and was accompanied by the deputy secretary to the British embassy in Ethiopia and woman from an organization by the name of DFID that is special to the UK government on development and assistance and is known as Paulina.

 

The president and the delegation held high level talks in which the two sides discussed issues ranging on improving and developing social services, strengthening security, combating piracy, and consolidating the bilateral ties with neighboring countries.

 

The two sides held series meetings intended that issues dominated their previous discussions to bear fruit.

 

The UK government sent the delegate in order to assess and get the real situation on the ground in Somaliland.

 

Hence, the bilateral ties between the two governments based on the socio-economic development are getting stronger and stronger.

 

Finally, the president greatly indebted to the delegate’s visit to Somaliland and he praised that the government of UK managed to establish good ties with Somaliland.

 

The meeting was attended by the minister for presidency Mr. Hirsi Ali Haji Hasan, the minister for planning Mr. Sacad Ali Shire and Somaliland foreign affairs secretary Mr. Mohamed Rashid Sh. Hasan.
