GarYaQaaN Posted April 26, 2003 What up Nomads, This is something that puzzled and annoyed me for some years now. As Muslims why shouldn't we use the Hijra as a calendar? I found out most of us don't even know the months and the fact that it is a lunar calendar rather than solar. Also what do you guys think of educated Muslims saying, 21st century this, 21st century that, and so on? Because after all, this calendar is based on the birth of Christ. Peace, PS.
