    . Your whys are answered.

lol. I don't think she got the answers she was looking for.

What islam is suppose to be( a way of life) and how muslims behave are two different things, we as muslims are no different than other people and our behaviors are no different, we just seem to have more hypocrites than others.

I find all religious discussions boring and depressing because there are no concrete answers, only more frustrating questions. All religion is based on common sense, how i was conceived, how i treat others etc, I don't really need religion to tell me to be kind, courteous of others, do i?

    This is an emergency

They shot down in the dark

They did it cause it paid a fee

Now there's nothing to die for

All the kids from miles around

    Are fools in paradise

Don't know about the pirate sound

So the scene is an eyesore

    Coming back we fly away

Jah jah coming so I live to see another day

All I think about if I were just to run away

Would I come back to love you girl?

    [Hook]

I don't wanna change the world

I only want to stop pretending

    What you say? Come again

What you say? Come again now

Nothing left to do but let it burn

I only hope we're all ascending high

    What you say? Come again?

What you say? Come again now?

    [Verse 2]

    All around my hometown

They tried to chop me down

But the truth shall not forsake me

Take me up to higher ground

    And you-ou-ou-ou-ou

You're the light when the feeling is dark

Not pretending the game is a race

Because you're born and you'll die in my heart

    [Hook]

I don't wanna change the world

I only want to stop pretending

    What you say? Come again?

What you say? Come again now?

I will never let you down

I'll be right here beside you, hanging around

So if you think you let me down

Leave me here in silence, Without a sound

    Change words

    Ch-Change burns

    We came first

    That's why we're in chains

and there's no one to blame but time.

    typo, i meant goats.

    goodir

no, not an atheist. just pondering.

To everyone, this topic is not meant to be debated nor is it for controversial purposes, I have no interest in that to be honest. It's genuine thoughts that I've been having lately and I'm expressing it here. The objective isn't to get anyone to convert to my way of thinking, but just to show a different perspective.

  7. you know a while ago i was watching this documentary on the nile river. In the documentary there is a tribe of ethiopians who believe there are spirits that roam the nile river, and they would sacrifice goats and chickens in order to appease these spirits. Now, most of us would agree, this is ludicrous, correct?

Doesn't the idea of 'shaydan' that is invisible and puts bad thoughts in peoples heads seem just as ludicrous?

  8. My adopted country is my real country, I came here when I was 7, it is practically my real country . I find somali culture primitive, and I have completly disassociated myself from it. This country is where i make my living, where I got my professional education, being somali or somalia has done nothing for me.

  9. I think most of us live by pascals gambit, we cannot logically prove that god exists, but probability wise, we have less to lose from just believing than not believing in god. I think that's how I've been reasoning for a long time, but that is a flawed reason, and it suggests that god is petty god that rewards hypocrisy and not genuine goodness.

More jumbled questions that are usually on my mind: How do you reconcile free will and destiny?

  10. Doesn't it get to you, that depending on where you are born determines what religion you are. If i was unfortunate enough to be born in some remote village in the kalhari or something to some african tribe, what would I know about islam or any organized religion for that matter?

Also, without hell, how many people would be religious? it seems to me that peoples main motivation for being religious is to avoid hell, hence as they get older and are days away from the grimreapers grip, they start to become religious out of fear.

Just some jumbled thoughts of a man slowly loosing his religion.
