You all have to know one thing many of this dictators/authoritarian leadership (Putin, lham Aliyev, king abdullah etc) are not stashing money in this off shores bank to hide from their country/government out of fear, they can and have already stashed far more in their own country with zero accountability. Most of this dictators are doing this as plan B, as they know if they are one day kicked out everything in his country will be confiscated from him, the only thing they can count on is what is outside the country

I bet there could be Somalis who have off shore banks. Mostly Al Barakaat and Dahabshiil. They are not that sophisticated to go all the way to Caribbean islands, but some where in Dubai. My God these guys owe millions of tax dollars for 25 years.

Why would Brakat(now Salama bank) and Dahabshiil need off shore banks? they are themselves by definition "off shore" banks
even al-shabab have accounts there. Im saying this as some one who have worked many years in hawala business, i have seen many somalis in the west using this banks to stash there untaxed/under-the-table money (cab drivers, business owners, non profit org etc). If somalia was a stable and developed nation even the non somalis would have used there to to stash/hide their money.

This is really disgusting, you dont take mothers away from their childrens and you dont take a man away from his personal proparty unattended, it contravenes against every law that exist in the world.

Cheesman has now to choose between a rock and hard place, to retire Rooble as he did with Kheyre and Jawaari, and finally put the last nail on his credibility, for everyone to realize it was always he who was the problem. Or stay putt and somehow still hope that NISA and Fahad have already done enough interference/handpicking in the election process to tilt the election in his favour.

Take a note, with 99% certainty Rooble will take the same road as Kheyre and Jawaari, the Jeesman doesnt tolerate any one who is not dancing to his tone, and Jeesman can always count on his puppet Mursal who replaced the brave Jawaari who stod up to Farmaajo but sadly lost the fight. Jawari out, Kheyre out, soon Rooble is out also, any one with sound mind can see that jeesman is not up to good, his obsession with geting reelected will destroy this fragile nation

I was expecting this this riff to come, laqdabo iyo cadaalad meel kuma wada heshiiyan. Yesterday Xassan Kehyre was fire just because he said "we will hold the election in its time, no extension". Now farmaajo is again showing his true face by backing his thugs in NISA, even a murder is not a red line for him as long as he gets reelected by hook or crook.

Nothing to be happy with that one of the most corrupt individuals geting 7 delegate to select. We suspect many politicians for corruption but Mahdi Guled is one of the few we for sure with evidence know is corrupt, he was behind the MZ VISA scandal, something we should never forget.

This was a big victory for democracy, Farmaajo accepted all the demands made before(which proves he was 100% wrong). i hope this is a wake up call for any future leader who tries to manipulate his way in to the power thinking he can manipulate the election process(african style), somalis are today more sophisticated and well informed than before, you cant pull another Uganda, Ethiopia or Djibouti stile farce on us. I hope Farmaajo like Hassan Shekh and Shekh Shariif becomes history and we get a new president who is better for the development of the country

Since every one wants to have waqooyo delegates in their own pockets(to win) why not totally remove them from election process? or else bring their clan elders to select them. Farmaajo already knows that it is impossible for him to get reelected if he doesnt get the extra 20% waqooyi delegates on his scale, let see how this war/theft over waqoyi delegates ends and who wins.

Its a no brainier(sadly not for some), one works for a sittning president who want to be reelected(at any price). If that is not a sufficient reson to disqualify Mahdi then you surly dont want a viable, stable and prosperous democracy for somalia, maybe you want us to copy Djibouti or Uganda?

Amhara have become emboldened after the Tigrays defeat. The biggest mistake Tigray did was not diversifying the army which was amhara dominated. The flare of fire will start when the amhara supremacist try to quell/suppress the oromo masses

This professors complex and deep explanation on Farmajo is exactly the issues that compelled many of us to dislike him(after we supported him in the beginning), but sadly many pro Farmaajo people lack the deep analytical intelligence/capacity to understand and see this deep issues

it seems Farmaajo will kick out another prime minister for not dancing along with him(to stay or rigg the election), i hope this will be a wake up call to his naive supporters. I think Farmaajo had to change his plan/speech, im almost certain he was planing to double down with his marinhabaabin and blame game, but the statements from South west, Galmudug, Hirshabelle and his Prime-minister blew up his plans, he now become totally clothless and naked.

I have to burst you buble, this is one of the issues why i withdrew my support for Farmajo. If you take a facit and make a check on all the new institutional/government projects started by Hassan Shekh vs Famaajo you will become disappointed.
1) Ciidamada?: When Farmajo become president the first patches of fully trained army have already started arriving from turkey

2) VAT?: It was already in place in 2014 when i visited restaurang in liido beach and got a recit with VAT in it(5%)
3) Debt forgiveness?: The debt-relief process was started by former finance minister Mohamed Aden Ibrahim (Farketi) under Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s administration.
4) Garoonka ciyaaraha?: Renovations started under Xassan shekh wikipedia
5) National Theatre of Somalia?: Renovations started under Xassan shekh wikipedia
Its good that by now all pro farmajo people know from (Farmaajos own mouth) that the credit for the sea case in HAG belonged to Hassan Shekh otherwise they would be running everywhere with it as a victory brought by Farmaajo.
I supported the election of new president because in my opinion the progress under Xassan was very slow, but after 2 years with Farmaajo it become obviously he was not better, even worse when you check all the new institutional/policy buildings initiated/started under Xassan shekh vs Farmaajo.
Hopefully in the comming election we will get new president that is far better that Xassan Shekh and Farmaajo, that is if Farmaajo have not already tampered the election process in his favor, then we maybe stuck with not only an incompetent president but a new dictator like the once in Djibuti and Uganda.
