  1. It's a simple and brief question really, but one that got into my mind as i was trying to fall asleep last night.

Say a woman leaves her husband. She fears for her safety and life, and not only hers but that of her children as well. Say she fled the country altogether and lives someplace far from her husband. However she is still married to him. Thus after several years she meets someone she thinks is a good man and wants to marry to him. What will she do, as she is still married to her former husband and if she goes back its a risk to her life. Under islamic law what is the best thing for her to do?

Also, when answering to this question, could you include some hadith (if there is any and if you know any) related to this? Is she still obliged to get a divorce from her husband, even though of years without communication etc? Also can he refuse to divorce her and has he the right to?

    Thanks

  2. Truth has nothing to do with it.This simply confirms that the men will automatically stand by their man whereas a woman who runs around wont get any backup from her friends

runs around?...easy with the emotional outbursts fellas....that was a joke, however urs was not.

we all know thats its men that cant keep their lil friend in their trousers redface.gif

  3. ^^ :D:D ...haye... u beat me to punch yaah icon_razz.gif

anyway i agree with Qac Qaac...ehm for the first time i think...all this nag nag being exchanged back and forth is useless.

What happens happens, who's going to be the man to stop it? A few post on a somali website are gonna solve this how?

Be realistic, so you spoke your mind, well good, u should feel better, but don't turn this into some battle.

  6. sounds terrific.... getting exited of the prospect of wearing a dirac again

first thing you would have to do is figure out how much your budget is....is going to be a big bash or someting intimate....how many people to invite etc

then second look for the type of venue/place/hall u would use, how much it would cost you...meeqo qof ayee deeqdaa...eventhough u gave out one ivitation card per person u know they will try and sneak hooyadood, habaryaro, adeero, ayeeyo etc :D

then the catering....how about everyone brings packed lunches/dinners....great money saver, plus no complaints afterwards....u know how somalida are...markey wax kasta dirqijiyaan, ayee wax kasheegaan  lol...or u could ofcourse go for the whole kaboodle...maincourse/dessert n everything.

damn i could go on and on...soo u keep us posted...will try and come up with more ideas

skips out exitedly, thinking about which colour dirac to wear

  7. "Children Of War"

    The children of somalia

    Are left behind

    Victimised and scandalised

    Betrayed by those they trusted

    Shot at and bombarded

    Sad eyes and bloated bellies

    Searching through the rubbles

In the hope of finding a bone or two...maybe

Wandering along the warn torn streets

Dodging the bullets from the evil machines

    Silent...stalking...suffering

Not knowing if tomorow will bring their ending

    Selfish warlods took it all

How can this be subjected to a child so small

Children should be the apple of our eyes

Instead they're killed, abused, and demoralized

What's happening, is this supposed to be their fate

    Discarting of their innocent lives

As easily as they were made

Somalia, the Horn of Africa, once tall and proud

Only bears the cries of the children uttered out loud

Is this the ending, or is this the beginning

Don't they ever stop at nothing

How much more can a child take

How many more are they willing to break

What can we do but pray to God

    Keep hope that one day,

One will live a bit longer,

    Eventhoug it's not a lot

Children of Somalia, dry your eyes

For the day that will bring an end to your suffering will come by

    exits crying vehemently

  10. I don't think there should be an investigation into who did what during the war. There must be forgiveness for the past.

But despite all our problems, we can still live together again. That happens all over the world.

such wise words...it brought tears to my eyes walaahi, shows u the strenght of women, and their clear head at times like those.

    thanks MOTI...bless u for sharing

  11. ^^ very well said sis

its true that the somali people have recently started to adopt this despicable behaviour. and not only the ones in the west. It's happening back home too. Although they use more harsher stuff. My aunty who went back last year told me that they use oomo iyo saliid mixed together to make some brew they use to kill the fetuses. :(

wax kale iska dhaaf, they are putting their own life at risk..subxanallaah

  12. ^^^ they don't like it because of PEOPLE like YOU...u figure it out odayga

    LOL!!! dawaco

ur not joking around yaah! the poor beggar would be skinned alive...they would pounce on him like a christmast feast....ohhh how i would love to capture the fine moments on my Kodak Polariod :D

  13. I scare you because I bare the truth

    I’m wearing the signs

When you see me there is no reading between the lines

You envision hell as your place to dwell

While I envision paradise and its smells

I walk with pride on this land

We both prostrate for a higher command

So stare at me as you please

Cause my Nikhab and my clothes bring me appease

I love how you got the last lines together.

Hope we see more of you....keep them coming sis
