  1. Angola showed technique and perseverance for much of the game, not to mention the fireworks from Manchester United's bound Manucho. They proved wrong many pessimists who looked down on them.

  2. ^^That's funny.

Nephthys, I thought you got the hint. Still waiting for the urgent message:).

C'mon girl, take down the Somali flag you've as a profile pic(Your patriotism appreciated btw). And put yours smile.gif .

Or is it a wild guess? :D

  3. Biography

    Career in the Côte d'Ivoire

Touré did not own a pair of his own football boots until he was at the age of 15 often playing bare footed but he was soon discovered in the Côte d'Ivoire and was a scholar at the Abidjan football school run by Jean-Marc Guillou. Touré established himself as a player for leading African club ASEC Mimosas. He earned his first full international cap for the Côte d'Ivoire at the age of 19 in 2000. Kolo Toure was born in Mogadishu, Somalia. His mum is from the Ivory Coast and his dad is from Somalia

  4. ^^Should Egypt continue dillydallying with their chances as they did against Zambia, then Angola will do the job, I tell ya. But on a normal note, I wouldn't count on Angola bowing The Pharaohs out of the tournament. But the elephants will. That's beyond the shadow of a doubt! The 4-0 prediction. Oh no. Remember they drew with Zambia.

Yes. Your post suggests that you are subtly but precariously leaning toward the Arabs. Expect a let down. Maybe aiming for a third place may do the trick for you.

    Tunisia 0 v Cameroon 1. That's a ridiculous margin to predict smile.gif .

Yep. They were good in their first two matches. But not so impressive in their yesterday's draw against Zambia. I thought they would have a smooth run to the semis, but I guess Angola will turn out to be a formidable challenge if they continue playing like yesterday.

They should at least be smart enough to pack their bags the night before the semis as The Elephants gonna quash them under their heels. Not in the least concerned about that. Taking a free day just to see them crushed smile.gif

They had home advantage in their last final against The Elephants. It's all West Africa now.

Lol, yeah right! You went to CH and burned everything? Oh you guys have Vujo only. Remember we were the barrack boys, 'Ciyaalka Dabeesha'! You know no GSS messed with us in old days. Must be the new sissies in CH that've let you guys near or around the barracks

. County High was the school of hard-knocks and none can take away that reputation
    :D
    .

Lool@Bethany Videos... Memories! Mother use to think I smoked cigarettes especially after coming out of there - the bloody Mkambas chain smoking
    smile.gif

County boys were no more than sissies in my days. I'm talking of post-Wazi era.

Lol@chain smokers. I still remember. Yeah..One smelt of cigarette after visiting Bethany.

Lol..Brings back memories of Gsa. Criss-crossing Suuq muqdi on our way to GSS from Bethany video. Those were my heydays. Wish I could reverse time.

Awlugeeye. Let me take a good guess, you're talking of my old school. Not only did we dominate Drama and other co-curricula activities (during my years), but we also produced the first and maybe the only A-product in N.E.P.

I even remember we went to county high and choma'd everything from the headmaster's office to their doms. Ironically County boys were known to be notorious, but we proved them wrong those days.

Boyz 11 men and 112 reigned my days.

    Check this out...

Don't be fooled, it IS kiswahili.

    quote:

maisha kwangu ni kama paka wa dukani with nyama choma na kadhalika et cetera

Mimi na regretti, wewe ni dangerousi..Baado mi naona we ni kifagio ya county council :D ...That's hilarious! Couldn't stop laughing.

The song has a vital message to the youth though.

  9. Wonder where the AP reporter got that info. from (the above article)?

It's Kikuyus who are on a revenge spree now. And the majority of the 64 killed in Nakuru central were Luos/Kales as opposed to what the AP's reporter claims.

Although situated in a Kalenjin-dominated province, Nakuru's population is 90% Kikuyu.

Anyone who's familiar with the killed MP's ethnicity. 'Mugabe Were' sounds more of a kukiyu name though he belonged to ODM.

  10. The way Ghana is playing in this tournament, particularly in last night's match against Namibia, I don't think they can beat Morroco. They're so unorganized with individualistic tendencies. I hope they do not disappoint me any further.

Looking forward to Nigeria v Mali tonight. Go Frédéric Kanouté!! Do your magic.

  11. Roger Mila was taken aback yesterday, I tell you. His mouth wide open. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. World stars outplayed by local Al-Ahly players. The pharoahs deserved the win. They could even win with a bigger margin.

Egypt is my nightmare. I can't stand a North African taking the cup again but, with yesterday's show of talent & technic things doesn't look promising for both the elephants and the black stars.

  12. ^^Feel pity for you. We're getting it for free on Eurosport(scandanavian version).

Any analysis from yesterday's match? Heard the Ghanians weren't as impressive as expected. I hope they scare up some better football next time.

The sports section is scaringly quite. Wonder where all those football-fanatics are.
