  12. I came across This tragic news on someone's wall on FB with a caption "World coverage for Boston bombings. Lets see how much this tragedy gets." So I decided to google and see if anyone else reported it...of course not many, but then clicked on THIS and note the date...over a decade ago almost identical story. Have just noticed the Daily Mail have changed the date of the article now...should of taken a screenshot lol
  13. Good afternoon Alpha. ...and I am year 4, 10mins and counting
  14. I wish it was Thursday 30mins till home time at least Afternoon all.
  15. lol Sighnomore, I always thought it went like this.... "Men are like parking spaces, the good ones are gone, the rest are handicapped" Reeyo, what your friend needs to do is stop 'dating' this married man, this is not 'halal' by any means. If she is serious about being a 2/3 or 4th wife she needs tell the guy to tell his wife(s) and like blessed said there are conditions, iska guurso maahee waa basar u guurso. There are plenty of fish in the sea, some in rivers, lakes and ponds even.
  16. Blessed...And those of us who have access to the internet also have the luxury of libraries, universities etc. If it were free for all and easily accessible to every village in every corner of the earth, then I would say yes the internet faa’ido badan buu leeyahay. But the fact remains those who can’t afford it still go about their usual ways in which to acquire knowledge. The only thing that annoys me are people who meet you and then spend half the time on their phone-- ironically, tweeting / FBing about the great time you're supposedly having. Grrr! lol I agree, that is so irritating.
  17. ^ As Malika said, it's just a phrase....I am sure Reeyo meant reer miyi as in ...gullible, naive damsel in distress sort. and that could also be a so called 'educated' girl.
  18. Information has always been there...it's not something the internet has introduced. The Internet has made us lazy and anti-social..., instead of going out there and finding the information we need and communicating with others, we just google away and voila! Yes, it is convenient, and brings everything you need with a click instead of going through endless pages and spending endless hours in a library or attending a lecture on the other side of town BUT is that a price to pay for human interaction?
  19. Duhur wanaagsan JB, mid dhabaa tidhi, waa maalin kulul...and this is just the begining
  20. Some people go for what they want and care less about what others think of them or if they get liked or accepted. Others care so much about the influence of others that they try to fit it to the pressures of the majority ...and some simply just don't like to share lol lol@Che, always playing the devil's advocate Shouldn't the title of this thread read...potential Halal home-wreckers lol maybe the first wife might be 'OK' with the whole sharing thing and therefore no home to wreck
  21. ^:D it was the same when I heard what Motorcycle is called lol Pencil Sharpner = Xuruurufleey Motorcycle = Dhugdhugleey
  22. lol yes, I have heard of xanshashaq, but like I said yaad aragtoo isticmaala and they probably wouldn't do a direct translation when it comes to somali romantance, they're a bit long winded...heesaha soodiga maqlay, what they could of conveyed in 2mins ends up being 10mins
  23. lol now yo're just making words up or maybe JB and Nuune can help.
  24. lol really....which have you heard? Gunuunuc or Koodi
  25. lol never use it, just sounds.... lol 'dhagta iigu sheeg' is a lot better.
