  9. well the ancient egyptians refered to the area which includes Somalia as Punt or Ta Neteru, the land of the gods. In one of the legends, they believed that is where they originated. some pharoahs sent expeditions to punt, the most famous being that of queen hatshepsut. there must also have been some links, mainly trade, between nubia and the lands of punt. so the land which the somalis occupy does have some links with ancient egypt. but as for Somalis(todays), I don't know. perhaps someone else can shed a light on it.
  10. ^ Laxoox is the Somali version of 'Canjeero', the pancake is our style, light and mobile. eating 'Cinjiro' is an act of treason! them rubber eaters should be arrested!

  20. jum'ah mubaarak Akhi, my nomadic years are far more fresh and clear in my mind than those I've spent in the cities. I'm not sure whether it is due to my passion for nature orthe clarity of the miyyi. I can still picture the bird flying back and forth, singing it's hypnotic melodies. your conclusion requires further contemplation and reflection. malaha waxaaynu la'nahay baalalka iyo codka macaan ee shimbirtaas Illaah ku manaystay.
