Tight jeans is causing a great anxiety in our muslim communities..What would happen to see your sister/daughter in a tight outfit with protruding curves for all to see... It is better if you throw all the clothes one time than mirroring your curves.

    Point blank,

Know why covering of the body was commanded in the first place, Then Keep it real..Wear your Hijaab nicely.

There is terrorism going on in Gaza right now in

    Palestine.

Israel controls the world by continously

abducting and killing millions of palestinian people over the period and guess what?

    Nobody talks

But when "one" soldier is kidnapped in exchange for a family..The whole world goes into "War on Terror"..

    Now see this story

More than 750 Israeli websites hacked in recent hours. Among them: Soldier’s Treasury Bank, Rambam Hospital, and Globus Group ticket center. Hackers: You’re killing Palestinians, we’re killing servers.

Hundreds of websites were damaged by hackers in recent hours, following IDF activity in the Gaza Strip. The hackers are members of the Moroccan “Team Evil†group, responsible for most of the website damage in Israel in the past year. This is the largest, most concentrated attack on Israeli websites in recent years.

The group’s spokesman previously told Ynet that “we are a group of Moroccan hackers that hack into sites as part of the resistance in the war with Israel. We attack Israeli sites every day. This is our duty…hacking is not a crime.â€

Added another group member: “We want Israel to stop fighting. Stop killing children and we’ll stop hacking.†According to the spokesman, the group’s members are all Moroccan youths, under the age of 20.

The increase in hacking of websites following military operations is a well-known phenomenon, in Israel and in the rest of the world. A similar increase was seen in attacks on both Israeli and Arab websites in the first days of the second intifada, pursuant to military operations that took place in Gaza, Judea and Samaria at that time.

    code:

    A lier always a lier

Now here a list of other quotes somalis written about her...

What a wonderful Unpleasant liar Ayan Hersi. We have seen your uncle and I do understand where you are coming from. I feel sorry for your mother who has the courage to carry you for nine months in her womb. How passionate that she was to bring your ugly face to this world.
    If you had no luck in getting any Somali suitors to end your questionable life style, I will be willing to marry you in the sake of Allah Subxaanahuu Watacaalaa;
but only if you repent your sins and apologize to the Muslim world. I understand what you are going true. Yaa Khasaaraa bintal sheydaan.

Was this lady really forced to marry someone. If she lied in "anyway" which she did..Then she is destroying our reputation of Kenyan somalis as "Liers"..This is serious.Look what BBC had to say

"But where the documentary seems to have hit her reputation hardest is in interviewing members of her family who undermine her claim that she was fleeing a forced marriage when she arrived in the Netherlands aged 22.

Relatives, including her brother, are filmed in a comfortable home in Kenya saying there was no arranged marriage and that she had had nothing to fear".

So she was lying about Muslim women...If you think no..Then have a look at this somali blog

Another classic example of Western hyporisy. Vilify Islam and Muslims and they will give you special treatment, whereas any other individual who lied about their asylum application would not be stripped of their citizenship but also be subject to deportation.

Well, I, as being an U.S born American, a 45yrs old Somali of origin, let me say to you all this; That when and if Ms. Hirsi comes here in September, as a would be think-tank working for U.S Institute which was build solely for propaganda and the accusation of Muslims, like American Enterprise Institute and Voice Of America, owned and operated by Israel, working and advocating for Israel interest. What America doesn’t know is the loose-cannon Ms. Hirsi is, and the lawsuits which is about to come to America Enterprise Institute by C.A.R.E. on her behalf.

It sad when one of your own becomes the cancer cell like Ms. Hirsi is, but what Ms. Hirsi doesn’t know is, only your home is where you call sweet, and like Somali proverb goes: Coos Jelaal waa lamma hurraan.

America need and is desperate, willing to pay top dollar for people who know and willing to talk about the dirty laundry of Muslims, in general, this is where Ayan falls in.

I get mails, (Electronically and through Post Office) about offers and offers of jobs, some secret, some not so secret, on almost monthly basis. It just depends on what it is that you would like to put up for sale.

One of my most favorite American proverbs is “An American would go to hell for bag of coffee†I refused to that. A bag of coffee is just not worth it.

Ayan Hirsi didn’t even tell, the mistreatment of women in Muslim world and her “Alleged†arranged marriage in is an old custom and tradition like any other third-world country, but has nothing to do with religion.

Ayan didn’t tell women could divorce and refuse to a particular marriage, whether arranged or not, according to Islam.

I read and study Qur’an even though I never saw Mogadishu, where my parents come from, unlike Ayan, who was born home. That’s just sad.

    Thanks.

Naden is a laden outfit..So be it..

To summarize for you(T)..in more than 2 paragraphs...

    1. Nowadays it's "very easy" for people without Knowledge of Islam to Say Something against Islam by calling a "News conference" of a sub standard media house and call it a breaking News Like what Ayaan did..(By the way, did she lie)..

    2. The West(Or the ones against Islam) will always use all types of media to put "The Breaking News" across the whole world to show that "a muslim(maybe without islamic knowledge) has spoken against his own religion. It is like "Serious" coz they missed creating "faults in Islam".

    3. Many muslims, women and men, think they are "Liberated" by doing everything that is Haraam or forbiden in Islam, like clubbing, sexual freedoms, not praying/fasting.Mind you, this is Islam and is between "yourself and God".No one else.

Many will go to length to say that,

a)They are forced to marry men like Ayaan(may be it was a suggestion from her parents),

b)They are forced to wear Hijaab/Jilbaab (Which is part of Allah's commandment anyway) to protect modesty in Islam, or

    c) Complain that Salaah(prayers) or Saum(fasting) is forced to them and tiresome and will skip them.

    4. People can't differentiate between Islam and their various cultures.Women in Saudi Arabia will wear "Complete" abaayas but ladies from Somalia and Indonesia can wear normal outfits which still covers all "prescribed" islamic parts of the body.

    ama Niendeleeeeeeeeeee..... smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

  9. Unlike Hirsi Ali, Manji has not openly renounced her faith, although, she says, "Islam is on very thin ice with me." She attributes her skepticism to her childhood experiences at the madrassa she attended in Vancouver.

    Amelia, Mashallah.

The source of your research was great. This kind of research makes Hirsi Feel at odd with the world.

There was no "cage"..Now there is a "cage" for her to live in oblivion.

The west are making full of Ayan Hirsi Statement from the time Netherlands Immigration Minister advised

"If at all she lied on her immigration, she must also have LIED about ISLAM"

So be it.. :D:D:D And Manji....???

  10. Debate or debating is a formal method of interactive and position representational argument. Rules governing debate allow groups and individuals to discuss and decide issues and differences. Debate is an aspect of argument which is distinct from logical argument, in that it encompasses aspects of human persuasion which appeal to emotional responses —often based on exaggerated or misrepresented statements or claims.

Debate is a common process in deliberative bodies such as parliaments, legislative assemblies, and meetings of all sorts. Outcomes of debates may be decided by voting, by judges, or by combination of both.

Formal debates between candidates for elected office such as what the leaders debates on preparing for elections or presenting their philosophies.

It has happened many times in Kenya and the USA during the presidential election debates

Debate are common where there are democracies.

Readers at SOL sometime find information that have not been judged or ain't suitable from the lead feeds thus debate to explain the matter.

So NEVER try to limit debates as is happening many times at SOL...

Mods and administrators know the repercussion.

  12. Catholic Church no longer swears by truth of the Bible

    By Ruth Gledhill, Religion Correspondent

THE hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church has published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some parts of the Bible are not actually true.

The Catholic bishops of England, Wales and Scotland are warning their five million worshippers, as well as any others drawn to the study of scripture, that they should not expect “total accuracy†from the Bible.

“We should not expect to find in Scripture full scientific accuracy or complete historical precision,†they say in The Gift of Scripture.

The document is timely, coming as it does amid the rise of the religious Right, in particular in the US.

Some Christians want a literal interpretation of the story of creation, as told in Genesis, taught alongside Darwin’s theory of evolution in schools, believing “intelligent design†to be an equally plausible theory of how the world began.

But the first 11 chapters of Genesis, in which two different and at times conflicting stories of creation are told, are among those that this country’s Catholic bishops insist cannot be “historicalâ€. At most, they say, they may contain “historical tracesâ€.

The document shows how far the Catholic Church has come since the 17th century, when Galileo was condemned as a heretic for flouting a near-universal belief in the divine inspiration of the Bible by advocating the Copernican view of the solar system. Only a century ago, Pope Pius X condemned Modernist Catholic scholars who adapted historical-critical methods of analysing ancient literature to the Bible.

In the document, the bishops acknowledge their debt to biblical scholars. They say the Bible must be approached in the knowledge that it is “God’s word expressed in human language†and that proper acknowledgement should be given both to the word of God and its human dimensions.

They say the Church must offer the gospel in ways “appropriate to changing times, intelligible and attractive to our contemporariesâ€.

The Bible is true in passages relating to human salvation, they say, but continue: “We should not expect total accuracy from the Bible in other, secular matters.â€

They go on to condemn fundamentalism for its “intransigent intolerance†and to warn of “significant dangers†involved in a fundamentalist approach.

“Such an approach is dangerous, for example, when people of one nation or group see in the Bible a mandate for their own superiority, and even consider themselves permitted by the Bible to use violence against others.â€

Of the notorious anti-Jewish curse in Matthew 27:25, “His blood be on us and on our childrenâ€, a passage used to justify centuries of anti-Semitism, the bishops say these and other words must never be used again as a pretext to treat Jewish people with contempt. Describing this passage as an example of dramatic exaggeration, the bishops say they have had “tragic consequences†in encouraging hatred and persecution. “The attitudes and language of first-century quarrels between Jews and Jewish Christians should never again be emulated in relations between Jews and Christians.â€

As examples of passages not to be taken literally, the bishops cite the early chapters of Genesis, comparing them with early creation legends from other cultures, especially from the ancient East. The bishops say it is clear that the primary purpose of these chapters was to provide religious teaching and that they could not be described as historical writing.

Similarly, they refute the apocalyptic prophecies of Revelation, the last book of the Christian Bible, in which the writer describes the work of the risen Jesus, the death of the Beast and the wedding feast of Christ the Lamb.

The bishops say: “Such symbolic language must be respected for what it is, and is not to be interpreted literally. We should not expect to discover in this book details about the end of the world, about how many will be saved and about when the end will come.â€

In their foreword to the teaching document, the two most senior Catholics of the land, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, Archbishop of Westminster, and Cardinal Keith O’Brien, Archbishop of St Andrew’s and Edinburgh, explain its context.

They say people today are searching for what is worthwhile, what has real value, what can be trusted and what is really true.

The new teaching has been issued as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of Dei Verbum, the Second Vatican Council document explaining the place of Scripture in revelation. In the past 40 years, Catholics have learnt more than ever before to cherish the Bible. “We have rediscovered the Bible as a precious treasure, both ancient and ever new.â€

A Christian charity is sending a film about the Christmas story to every primary school in Britain after hearing of a young boy who asked his teacher why Mary and Joseph had named their baby after a swear word. The Breakout Trust raised £200,000 to make the 30-minute animated film, It’s a Boy. Steve Legg, head of the charity, said: “There are over 12 million children in the UK and only 756,000 of them go to church regularly.

That leaves a staggering number who are probably not receiving basic Christian teaching.â€

    Genesis iii, 16
