    What does Castros view on homosexuality have to do with his support of the ICU? Maybe he's against the 'invasion'(as he sees it) of Somalia by our arch-enemy Ethiopia and that's where his support stems from. Not everyone is with the ICU solely for religious reasons, you know? Bud, you need to find other ways to discredit Castro.

    What's the difference between a Somali speaking English and an Englishman(read: white person) speaking Somali? They're both languages. Plus, if you spend a great deal of time around certain people who speak a language that is foreign to you, you start picking up on the said langauge. I mean, isn't that how we all learned English?

    When you decide to become a cabbie in the US, then you've to sign and follow the Taxi Commission's rules in the city that you want to work. By signing it, you are obliged to follow its rules. But, you've the right to refuse to sign the commission's rules and choose a different job. There are many other jobs that are better than picking up a drunken passenger at night just to throw up in your cab

    I agree with the author. You're a cabbie, either perform your job like you're suppose to or quit.

    You're kidding, right? Like Taako said, there have been many Somalis who were Christian at one time. A distant relative of mine converted to Islam when he was a young kid and his father converted on his deathbed. His father was raised in one of the orphanages run by the Italians.

    I respect K'naan, but he's speaking out of his behind. Cleaned up the country kulahaa, they cleaned up Mogadishu, not Somalia. And since when was Abdullahi Yusuf involved in Blackhawk Down?
