    Oooh let me back to my grade 4 text book. They define like this Clan system (Netham Alqabaly) is :

     

    "Group of People share same lineage(same nasab or blood)) settled in the same area. There was a leader (Sheikh) that was the ruler over the whole Clan. He was responsible for his people. He was the one that had to be sure that they had enough to eat and their animals, rersponsible for their secure. In return, they have to help him when he needs them .they have to obey if he called for battle.Their responsible to show up when ever he calls them when he needs them".

     

    Was good system , and was in need but after Islam people did not need the head of Clan(sheikh) cause there was system protected them and meet their needs.

     

    About if Qabiil is bad or good.. is the way you use it. If you use it to identify who is your blood to keep "selat A raham". But is not good to show how superior you are!.

     

    My self, I tell my qabiil any one asks me and don't see any thing bad at all. My mom has her clan name as her last name so do all her people back home.

     

    I forgot to add that we still have head of Clan as a sympol for respect like Queen in England for Canadian and Australian but have no much effect for their system today.

    Well, prayers are visible and can be done for many reasons,as some already said they could easily combine, or pray on their seats. Also as some one already mentioned they could be showing others "see how we stick our religion"!

     

    So, cause they pray this way and people watching them doesn't mean that how we measure, judge how much God fearing they are!.

     

    Just look at pictures specially first one, how they bothering other people, is that fearing Allah wants? to bother other humanbeen specially when they have other options?

     

    Tolerance and respect is more important than your prayers.

    ^^^Eeeeeeeeeeeew, Masha Allah I never knew all these people were Sujui.

     

    Well my good Sujui people let us celebrate our differences since being Somali is not homogeneous (the homogeneous bit is a myth)!.

     

    Also being Somali doesn’t mean we cant talk in different languages and express ourselves in whatever language we fancy!. We should remember that English isn't our native language and neither is Swahili and so whoever wants to chat any language they wish, let it be so! On the other hand those who dont like it I would say get used to the multiculturalism of this age!

    considering today's world the only difference b/w garoob, Gashaanti and Gabar is the fact that Garoobs were previously married and chewed their gums in Xalaal fashion. Lets be fair, those terms had real meaning during our forefathers.

    I learned my lesson very well..lol ,. Even my home computer I always sign off.

     

    That is only way some one gets to your account ...is to leave sign on, so next person uses your computer can exis to your account. So best way is to sign off and just incase change your password every couple of months smile.gif

    the president of puntland will have the same power as the president of the federal republic of Somalia
    except foreign policy and the armed forces i.e. The president of puntland can not single-handed order an invision into Ethiopia!
