    Deni should stay in Puntland and concentrate at the job in hand. Puntland is going through period of development and tranquility. I know we are frustrated by these hapless Koonfur amateur leaders who can not manage a chicken but the minute Puntlander becomes president they will cry foul even if is in their own interest. I am sure if he becomes president he will start moving troops in order to flush out Alshabab in the detriment of Puntland security like lasr time around. He needs to think hard and long about putting himself in that situation.

    Who was the most hated clan of Siad Barre? Even before he overthrew the Somali government led by *** president, he was filled with enmity of the Puntland clan and he hated them so much that he made sure no military officer took senior position in the Somali military. Do you also know the low level officers who tried to overthrow him in 1978 were mostly from that clan? Do you also know that the first rebel group SSDF were from same tribe as him? Do you know anything about Mudug and Nugal uprising and what happened to the Somali people in those regions?

    You seemed to have been fed with one sided story. Go out of your comfort zone and talk to different people from different tribes than yours so might get balanced view of the Somali hostory.

    Farmaajo knows that no MP from Puntland, Galmudug, and Hirshabelle will give him a vote. So he is trying his best to rob Masaakiinta Reer Waqooyi, Reer Xamar iyo corruptible Koonfur Galbeedi delegates and MPs kkkkkkk. Cabdi Xaashi knows that and will not give in an inch until the fat lady sings. Kudos to him. As a Somalj veteran he has an obligation to stand for justice and for the future of our country. Four more years of Farmaajo will be a wasted opportunity.

    The standard Somali is the Mudug dialect, and the least corrupted Af-Maxaatiri dialect is reer Somaligalbeed. 

    Af Garre waa Af Garre not a Somali. Garre tribe also live in Lower Shabelle Qoryooley to be precise and they share nothing but the name. My friend is Garre and he told me when they used to visit Garre's in Kenya, they could not understand them and they needed a translator. It does not matter how languages are related if they are mutually unintelligible, they are two different languages no matter what.

     

    There are so many languages that are very close to each other and even can understand each other a bit but still are classified different languages. For example, Dutch and German, Spanish and Portuguese; Swedish and Finish etc etc.

Kkkkk I don't know what the Puntland folks in Xamar  did to him while he was getting handouts from Afwayne, but you can see he is damaged beyond repair.     The Mps are picked by odayaasha and almost all Sool & Sanaag are behind him. The other MJs are supportive of him like no other leader before him especially Mudug. So he has easy ride to pick his men from Puntland.

    Yes, I did listen to him but I don't think he explains in detail why he thinks Af Maay is just a dialect of af Somali. I think he wants us to read his book for that.

    Coming to the word Waaq, it was the name we used for Almighty Allah and not a "god" as you alleged. I have no evidence that we were ever a polytheists in religion. Still to this day the Rendille people of Kenya who probably are a lost Somali clan worship Waaq and they are monotheistic in their beliefs. 

    You can understand quite a bit because you lived in the South. Most people who lived in the South at some point know certain Maay words like "ariiroow meey fadaase", xagee dhuuryaysasa" etc but it is not intelligible to Af maxaatiri speaker in Gaalkacyo or Hargaysa.

    Look at this poem in Af maay and tell us what it means:

    Just because we share some words here and there does not make Af maay the original language. You need more extensive research than that. Also, all these languages are Cushitic so they bound to have similarities. For example, we know that Somalis worshipped a god called Waaq before Islam and to this day some people refer " Waaqay iyo waligeey", but the Oromo still have a god called Waaq, does that mean Somali is from Oromo? No, it just mean that an old cushitic word that Somali abandoned but kept by Oromos due to the introduction of Islam and exposure to Arabs, Indians and others.

    You can say same about Af Oromo. They call geel "gaala" which almost the same as the gaal in Af Maay Maay. So that does not mean that Af maay is the same as Somali.

    There is no doubt that Af Somali, Af Oromo and Af Maay and others have same original root, and our ancestors spoke one language at one point in the past thousand years. Languages diverge and form new kind of languages. It is same for Arabic and Hebrew. The original language was called Aramaic and were spoken by the ancestors of the Arabs and Jews.

    Yes, people in the South are indifferent to Al Shabaab even when they are killing them and causing them mayhem. How else do you explain that all these clans in the South who claim to be powerful but not raising a finger to free their major cities such as Ceelbuur, Xarardheere, and almost all the rural towns deep South?

    The only clan who I can praise are those in Dhuusamareeb who fought Al Shabaab with bravery and Raganimo. The rest are either indifferent or clear sympathisers.

    He does not know shit. The Portuguese works for Al shabab period. 12 of those executed are from the dominant sub clan of Galkacyo and two more are from the larger clan and many of them never heard or know the meaning of the word "Ariiroow".

    Imagine if these terrorists were really majority from the clans in the South. They would not stop winching and wailing. These people in the South should stop making excuses for terrorists and sympathising with them if they really want peace. Terrorists don't have clan or tribe for them it is just a tool to exploit and cause mayhem in the land.

    If someone is in Puntland state they are accountable to Puntland justice. Otherwise stay in your area and don't come. Simple. Especially now everyone knows Puntland will show no mercy to Al shabab terrorists and the likes.
