    couple of comments.

    1. can we please have a Xigasho for the following...''Eniwey (anyways), the best time to advertise on Yunifersal (Universal TV) is the hours between 8-11 pm Soomaaliya time (GMT+3), especially the start of the news programs (programmes) at 8 pm and 10 pm''

    2. why can't people advertise on SOL?

thanks in advance...... for your eagerly anticipated response.

    Al.

  2. the new maid at Al's residence is 'dangerously close' to being SACKED. she calls very late every night (usually after 11:30am)....... since starting to 'apparently' remind me to send the following day's adeeg / provisions via Zaad. this is very inappropriate, ruunti. i will have to speak to her immediately and explain that she's not to call before 1am. :P:D

  3. Adams,

Universal TV have their studios in Ilford, East London. the key person you're looking for is Eng. Abokar Mahdi. he's become world famous for his excellent music videos and adverts. some of which, you might have already seen, and recognised for their 'sheer touch of class', which includes the use of exotic 'desktop screen savers' of the holidaying destination sort. see Qormaal's classic hit 'Dalsan'. more interestingly, perhaps, is Eng. Abokar Mahdi's use of lawn bowls venues or retired old peoples home as 'shooting locations'........ where A-LIST somali celebs like Jooqle ''erotically caress'' the flowers in such locations, without upholding the ethical virtues of the Somali Advertising Standards Authority (SASA).

balse, what's most impressive about Eng. Abokar Mahdi's advertising portfolio, is the incessant and continual use of a new sort of ''marketing orientated'' somali poetry (usually voiced by Cagmadheere) which rolls on and on and on without stopping, in a way thats seemingly endless, as adverts are flooded across ''shashaada TV-ga''. in the critically acclaimed ''golden beach hotel'' advert, industry insiders claim the voice tag ''golden beach hotel'' was repeated 14 times in the 57 seconds long advert. in the ''yusra luza herbal cream'' advert, the owners of the company were mentioned by name as it was felt this would ''create a sense of familiarity for the brand and as well as a dedicated macmilship''.

if you require any further info, please contact Eng. Abokar Mahdi's secretary. she's the fat cad-cad chick.

    good luck, inaar.

    Al.

  4. hi y'all.

    several comments....

    1. Saxil Supersonics lost against Badhan and i'm absolutely livid. i cannot begin to explain how pissed off i am with our shoddy performance. UNACCEPTABLE. we are now out of the tournament having lost two games now. worse, still....was my discovery that this tournament has 13 teams of 4 teams in 3 groups. that means there's an extra team. that is pathetic walahi.

    2. one of my uncles from Cardiff came to see me today. i haven't seen the guy in almost 5 years. he's very spasticated and i'm SHOCKED (pronounced shoow-kee-id in the English spoken here) that.he claims not to have used wireless internet since the 26th of May...:P. he's being using Al's wireless internet all day and hasn't spoken nor asked about my affairs. him and his friend have been too busy planning late night rendezvous and liaisons of an illicit nature with the local gash. unfortunately, however, its been ruined by a funeral...LOOOOOOOOOOOL. (please be advised........ this is my own interpretation of events).

    3. i went to visit my land earlier this afternoon. it was in an excellent condition and was very CLEARLY demarcated after the 'dispute'. i've reported this back to london and they are happy.

I saw a fellow waryaa on the bus today. We gave each other the universal Somali nod and

    :D
You see I'm not turning into unsocial Xaaji Xunjuf but I was too busy concentrating (I frown when I concentrate) trying to decide if I knew him or not. Wallahi he looked uncannily like a friend of mine it was freaky. In the end he got off early and got another bus lol
    :D

    someone seemed scared, ma istidhi?

next time, do something ridiculous and you won't attract such weird people.

Alpha, as part of the efforts to save our language, I kindly request you to start using

    hhhhhhh
    , the Japanese
    wwwww
) so us Somalis must do our best to preserve ours and increase the use of Somali online. Thank you.

    Dear Mr. Haatu,

Thank you for your suggestion. At Alpha's thread we take all suggestions and ideas serious. As such, we've decided to present your idea to the management planning committee for consideration. Your thoughts and feedback is very important to us and we intend to seriously consider your suggestions.

we're still discussing. i've called a Q & A session. one guy is being deliberately difficult. i'm not sure why but i'm very close to losing the plot. he's dissecting my ideas and making a mockery of this mashruuc.

I'm in a rotten mood and I have absolutely no idea why. It might be to do with the fact that I couldn't sleep for most of last night because it was soo damn hot (I was still using my winter duvet, time to bring out the summer quilt).

  11. my little niece and nephew are FINALLY here. they are in berbera at the moment. i'm so excited to see them, walahi. my niece is 4 years old and i haven't seen her for 1 yr and 4 months. my little nephew was born may 29th 2013 and i have NEVER seen him. he apparently looks like me. 'they' say he has my personality, too....:P:D.

i wonder if their mother will allow me to see them. i'm very shy and she's not exactly the greatest 'dumaashi", ma garateen? :P
