    ^Do you really expect Sheikh Shariif to sit down with characters such as these and get a settlement out of it? I think if the good Sheikh thinks he's on to something, then he's got something else coming. I'd say he might as well go to Mogadishu, queue up outside Gabre's office just like those tfg characters, and sit down with Gabre. After all that's the one man whose whim controls the city. Something tells me the good sheikh is barking up the wrong qurac.

    ^Yup. This is what we've been saying all the time. Gabre controls Mogaidishu.

     

    It's really something to watch so-called leaders awaiting permission and instruction from Gabre. Ceebeey tacaal.

     

    It's a mystery how the named and shamed individuals, have made it to the level they are at now.

    Something I published on Simply Somali...

     

    I have not been able to write anything happy for sometime now, but few peoms that are not particularly happy here and there. The one below is one of them...

     

    When your flaming blade gently dips the flesh

    How it’s kisses makes death a sweetly nectar

    When crimson moisture of veins shyly gushes

    And ecstatic eyes in sweet enjoyment sheath

    Oh its then that it dawns joyfully on the soul

     

    That only you alone gifts death with mastery

    But within moments near I begun to realize

    That nay, you’ve only graced my troubled soul

    With beguiling illusions conjured up in dreams

    And not that for which my bones eternally ache

     

    How silly and gullible I, to foolishly mistake

    Some illusions in a dream for truthful promises

    Stand aside, oh death, leave me to this dagger

    Let justice be done at last, let my throat be slit

     

    Invited you are, oh death, to feast on this flesh

    Sip red the blood of these veins that drip to dry

    Suck marrow cleanly from these haggard bones

    All these I give you with one plea in my heart

    That you kindly give back my soul to its maker
