  1. Yes, Ethiopia is a colonizer. But its the legally recongnised colonizer of all kind of diffrent peoples, like Oromoa, Afar, etc. The Somalia govermewnt recongnised it.

Even your beloved Al Shabaab recongizes it, otherwise they would fight Ethiopia and Xabashi's in stead of fighting and murdering poor Somali's.

  2. I dont support any secessionism from Ethiopia, I support Ethiopian unity.

    why?

Because, why would I support ONLF secessionism and self determination, if they(ONLF supporters) dont support Somaliland's indepedence and recongnition?

So as long as ONLF dont support Somaliland, I keep supporting Ethiopia.

Wether you call them ethiopians or abyssinians, they have been ruling those ppl for a long time. Why dont you just accept that? the world has accepted it, Somalia goverment has accepted it, the united nations has accepted it.

So, I am right. Ethiopians(muslim and christians) have been ruling the particular region?

  5. This article is a complete distortion of History.

The only historical relevant fact the author didnt mention is, that 'his' people have been under Ethiopian rule for centuries and that there is absolutely no evidence for being a State before being ruled by Xabashi's.

But to be honoust nobody would like to admit being ruled by Xabashi's for centuries, I would say the same thing if I am resisting and fighting the Ethiopians.

  6. No need for name calling. Prof. Abdi Ismail is a American Academic Professor who left his home country Somalia, more then 30 years ago.

He provides his opinion in articles and intervieuwes about the current political situation in Somalia and Somaliland. But he does not determine the fate of the people on the ground nor will he have any influence on the future or history of the country. He is merely an observer with his own opinion nothing more.
