    Hey guys i am facing a delima.Few months ago i posted a poem in the peotry.com website, just out of bordem and a "what the heck" mood thing.

     

    But since then they have been sending me letters asking me if i would let them include by poem in a coffee book edition, then in some other book, then in a tape. At all these times they have asked me to pay for these things if i wanted to have them.So my natural sense said to ignore them

     

    Which led to beleive they were phony and only after money.

     

    BUT now, they send me this invitation for a convention where i am suppose to be one of 35 poets chosen to win a grand price of 20,000 dollors :eek: , Naturally iam not going its in DC and i am in Toronto :rolleyes: , My point is did any of u poets here come across these people and do u think they are serious.Or are they compelety some whatevers.

    Peace there is nothing to debate about it.If people look at us they see nothing but our skin colour which proves where we come from.

     

    Plus Senegal is 98% muslim so.... It doesnt mean that we are muslim we have some connection with teh arabs.

    Damn that was demented! i actually read only Virgins reponse sorry they are too long so i guess we have great opinons on them

     

    Waryaa wat a lovely concidence i just did a class presentation and 6 page essay on Suicide bombers. Not the Palestinians alone there were also the Kamikaze pliots(japanese) and the LIITE(Tamil)

    My perspective was the psychological and sciological aspect of suicide bombers. I got 85% on my presentation i get nervous and 92% on my essay :D .

    But thats not the point redface.gif , I do agree with the palestinians that kill themselves in these suicide attacks, non of us and i mean non of us know wat the hell they go through with 35yrs of occupation. 5million of thier brothas and sisters are outside their OWN land,

    While the Israel goverement brings JEWISH immgratants form other countries to populate these lands that DONT BELONG TO THEM,

     

    Its wrong to kill urself blah blah blah :rolleyes: . Dont judge if u aint walking in thier shoes!

    Rock's Chick umm what would i do

     

    1) I would Ignore him if he continued i would cuss him off. If he continues all hell would break loose send my brothas and cousins on him!

     

    2) Aiight this depends on how important the man is to me. If i beleive that he is the man of my life and she hits on him, I would kill her. If he plays the game and hits on her too I kill him ! :mad: ( this is the love of my life :( )

     

    If he does nothing and remains passive i would hurt her bad and cut our entire relationship!

     

    2B If he is not important to me,and in reality she is more worthy to me than this man. I would be crashed dumb him and her on the spot, but that after i kill her! LOL

    Me yes i would marry my cousin if i never met him before and if he met my criteria.

     

    My eyes are actually set on one of my cousin who is becoming a Doctor ummm and he is also 6feet+ the nicest guy in the planet, a cutie and a very concious muslim!!!!. Fits 85% of my criteria already :D

     

    So why not atleast he knows who u are and where u are from. So in the future u may get invitations

     

    of the wedding of Jawahiir and the Doctor lool

    Salam!

     

    Barwaaqo its actually true i know many people that skip Dhur cause of work. Its not a choice of luxury but one of inconveince in this western world.From personal experince i could just nott make Fajr prayers 3:30 in the morning :( . So i prayed the rest four but missed one... But alhamduliallah i started last week, praying fajr! 3:30 is still a little hard and annoying but 5 better than 4 rite :D
