North maybe you should have invited few females into your peace attempt, it might have calmed the level of testosterone in the air and all the chest beating. .

Oz, I find Oodweyne reasonable haadan iis hoortaago when he is wrong, at worse he goes around me, haadi kale he agrees and leaves it alone. He is more reasonable and tolerable than one-liners and emotional outburst of certain nomad. We don’t have to agree, but you have to put a little effort in your argument, rather than just crying and pulling at people’s sleeves. Certain folks do not even read what others write, they just cabaad and jump from post to pillar. At least he is consistent in his stance and arguments well written and presented (maybe a little too well). I am a fan of his English and writing skills too. Laakin Oodweyne as Ngonge would say pick your battles atheer, all this dance, monkey business, lack of clothes and randomness iska daaf.

Oodweyne: You are mocking when you say God only knows that they need this sort of parade, but I seriously think it is good for the soul, moral uplifting, and hopes that have been on hold for 20yrs, battered by daily deaths and bad news. (that little blue flag sure holds lots of emotions) So adiga aya ku wacatahey to say, my friends I am glad that today your hopes have had a boost and you feel hopeful again.... I'm asking too much now?! Much like North Korea miitiid faryaar baa meesha ka buuxa!

Loool, Xaasha inana qalado, but I might forget, baal far wawenye igu qor.

Can you grown men stop calling each other names please, can you not express yourself without calling each other monkeys, apes, oaf! Oodwenye: 1) We agreed that political it meant little, and does nothing for Somalia. 2) You sort of agreed it might help confused or under developed identity issues for kids. 3) You agreed that SL would enjoy or benefit from Free publicity YOUR problem is that you feel Somalis from Somalia are seeing this moment as the end of it all, the full potential, the all that they can be, the long and short of Somalia’s problem. Atheer I think it is you who misunderstood the party, let not blow this out or proportion, this is a feel good factor, of sentimental value and significant, if you agree with that then stop raining on peoples parade. No one said it sloves Somalias problem. Naga daa dhee P.s. Are you on of those fathers who take away a kids fav toy just so that you can SHOW them that that they have nothing else in their life?

Cawaale, I saw tiny Somali moos in Syria!!! Che- never claimed then Xiin, I did read it, I don't find the last two lines too interesting. You know I have a problem with anything that tries to put people into camps. I assume Oodweney is just saying that it has zero political significance, which is true, he is just not as emotional in tune with sentimental values as the rest.
-
Xiin, I find it as easy to reason with Oodweyne as I do with you Both of you with enough space and time come around on your own

Oodeweyne Howdy. I say this with all respect but Somalis in general (SL including) are all about gesture. A journalist writes something good about SL, it is for most part insignificant gesture as someone waving a flag, but I know you would celebrate this as a significant gesture, because I am sure you would argue that, this may at worse make people aware of a place called SL and at best force readers to read about that region or support the cause or at least start a journey on their own. So although on its own at the time an empty gesture, it has the potential to amount to something. CORRECT? Okay by the same token, many people have heard or thought or considered Somalia or Somalis AFTER this song turned into a national anthem. I know for sure that there are primary school kids who are beating their chest in schools in pride that Somalia is although not taking part in the world cup, their people were there both in flag and sprit. Is this not significant? In political sense it means nothing (maybe it will remind one world leader to add Somalia to some donor list or funding or something) but in all honest no one has said it has political significance at all, but significant it is, both to people with strong ideals or hope for Somalia or Diaspora Somali kids who are involved in the culture of Music and football. Maybe you forgot that not ever Somali is concerned with Sharif or Riyaal or Somalia or SL, most are struggling to reconcile their Somali identity with all the negativity about Somalis around. You might also be forgetting that to outsiders, although you might turn, fight and write, we look, sound and seem all the same. I say with all honest that if despite all that I mention above you still mock or think that by all manner of speaking K’nann gesture was meaningless and a waste, then I think you are not being honest with me or yourself. Jacpher, the blue flag is closer to Hargisa then Sayid Barrer, I can think of countless reasons why .

Ngonge Axmaq in afmosali does not mean fool! It means harsh bila damiri
-
JB, don't be those Somalis that when they see someone doing wax yar, yidahad, anigan weykan! I'm sure there probably was someone, somewhere in the crowed with a SL or Iraqi flag, but fact is it did not get airtime, nor center stage, nor did people cry or repeat it 100times (My friend did). It was not as significant. I think considering Somalia took part in the world games before all the madness and the fact they were there again in a different capacity is an emotional and of sentimental value. Stop winding people up. Axamaq!

Loool Ngonge, JB is regularly updating his other site, miyaand arag? JB, baal make good contacts, then next you can be off to US for a month

@ GeelJire my Cayba. Congrats to K'naan. I agree with C&H, he could have raised the Canadian flag (Mo Farah Or Mustaph raised the British flag (Yes NGONGE it is not the same I know, British pay for Mo) Nevertheless I was glad to see a Somali getting center stage for something other than bad news... Congrats to Somalis and Somalia. Did anyone else notice other Somalis in the audience, there was one going mad with a blue flag at the front. NG Your song sucks! lol C&H, daadka qaaraba need a good slap, seriously.

Baal look at this; Malika: Off to Zanzibar for months Nuune: Been travelling all year and off again Norf: Every time he is going to holiday somewhere or another Juxa and serenity: Run out of places to visit, now pissed there is not more time and places CL: Africa and party for 8months Ngonge: Always in Dubia, syria, SL or Egypt JB: Works for CIA (No one is SL should have the money to come to France and then return) That is just to mention a few. SOL should form a travelers club, exchange houses in different countries or something.
