    Now my understanding of poems is true songs unfortunately, so this is one of my favorite poems:

     

    صــمٍــت القــَــلــب

     

    تركتني ياصاحبي من بعد صمت ياشين صمت القلب لاصرت غايب

     

    ابعدت عني ومن بعادك تعلمت اني وحيداً وانت كل الحبايب

     

    أصرفت في صدي وتدري تندمت وعرفت من فرقاك معنى الصعايب

     

    ودي تسامحني اذا أنت آمنت أن العفو يعطى لمن كان تايب

     

    أزعلك والله والله حرمت وشلون أزعل قلب أنا فيه ذايب

     

    حاولت انا أنسى والحين مارمت ولقيت شوقي ينغمرني بسحايب

     

    تعال يالغالي تراني تألمت من صدتك للهم انا أدفع ضرايب

    طلب حسني مبارك أن يتم تصميم طابع بريدي يحمل صورته لتسجيل انتصاراته ...

     

    وأكدّ على مجلس الشعب ،

     

    ضرورة أن يواكب الطابع البريدي المواصفات العالمية في الجودة،

     

    وطبعاً الطباعة على كلفة السعودية ...

     

    تمّ تصميم وطباعة الطابع وتوزيعه على مكاتب الخدمات البريدية في مصر,

     

    فعادت الأخبار بعد أيام أن الطابع لا يلتصق...

     

     

     

    إتصل حسني مبارك بالمخابرات المصرية

     

    وطلب منهم التحقيق في الأمر بعد انزعاج الكثيرين من عدم التصاق الطابع،

     

    وعادت التقارير من مكاتب البريد كالتالي:

     

     

     

    الطابع يحمل أعلى جودة ممكنة في الإلتصاق،

    You know Hibo to some girls when they hear that its a bit outrageous and conclude it by labeling those females as desperate however in those countries most Somali girls do not know a better way to "have fun" apart from being in a wedding tape and being watched all over the world.

     

    There are the ones like I said earlier that merely do it for marriage purposes, I know a couple now with three children. How they got married? Well He saw her in her sister's wedding, next month... guess who is in Abu-Dhabi? ...Yup!

    He was introduced to her and they are now living together in the UK.

     

    We may agree with it or not agree I do have my views on it which could be fair and unfair to the girls in such environments. For all I know girls as young as 16years take apart, they may not get married but they are the talk of the town lol

    I have to agree with Farxan there ...Most Somali girls do go intentionally to tapped weddings so that when the tape is viewed she will hopefully find a husband, I personally know many couples that got hitched this way...in some countries like the Middle East Somali girls believe its the best way a girl will get her way to travel to Europe, America...etc

     

    In the Middle East when a wedding is coming up, some girls go to extreme measures just to get it right, look dazzling and out shine the competition. This is no secret, it’s a well known fact there, and even parents encourage their daughters believe it or not! Yes some Somali mothers do that.

     

    So you see its different from one person to the other, one country and the other, Rahiima touched on the pathetic ness of some Somali ladies, the ones that excuses and labels some tapped weddings for being halaal since the Cadaan/Indhayar man is not conceded man enough for them to have xishood! Worst of all its true usually those tapes are played in Qaat sessions for the amusement of the grass chewers

    It helps if you have a close friend you can talk to, someone that you don't even have to tell anything but hearing their voice reassures you that whatever bothering you is not worth it.

     

    I usually call my best friend and the moment I hear her kind words i don't even remember what was bugging me so much!

     

    Even better if you make wuduu and pray two rakcat communicating with ilaahay ku abuuray.

    I took the Islamic Knowledge test and for Question 10 it asks:

    My answer was 113 but it said that I got it wrong :confused:

     

    #10 Wrong! Jawaabaha saxda ah = 114

     

    How Come? lol

     

    there is no Basmala in Suurat "Al'Tawba" which means not all the 114 suras start with Bismilaah

     

    I did'nt bother with the other quizes, hope there is no more mistakes

    It always crossed my mind, being around Somali’s every where, in the hospital, supermarkets, schools, mosques, streets...etc

     

    The sense of warmth and belonging and OH no more moving from one country to the other except when taking a vocation smile.gif

    I have put throwing around hard-core Somali maah maahyo and Somali poetry to the back of my list for now… let just say pray for 5 sentences to be read, said and written without feeling like such an effort!
