  3. MY love :(

If ever two were one, then surely we.

    If ever man were lov'd by wife, then thee;

If ever wife was happy in a man,

Compare with me ye women if you can.

I prize thy love more then whole mines of gold,

Or all the riches that the East doth hold. smile.gif

My love is such that rivers cannot quench,

Nor ought but love from thee, give recompence.

Thy love is such I can no way repay, smile.gif

The heavens reward thee manifold I pray.

Then while we live, in love let's so persevere,

That when we live no more, we may live ever. ;)

  7. First Love is always hte greaste love ;)

I ne'er was struck before that hour

With love so sudden and so sweet.

He face it bloomed like a sweet flower

And stole my heart away complete. icon_razz.gif

My face turned pale, a deadly pale.

My legs refused to walk away,

And when he looked what could I ail

My life and all seemed turned to clay.

And then my blood rushed to my face

And took my eyesight quite away.

The trees and bushes round the place

    Seemed midnight at noonday.

I could not see a single thing,

Words from my eyes did start.

They spoke as chords do from the string,

And blood burnt round my heart.

    Are flowers the winter's choice

    Is love's bed always snow

She seemed to hear my silent voice

    Not love appeals to know.

I never saw so sweet a face :D:D

    As that I stood before.

My heart has left its dwelling place

    And can return no more.

  9. I Write My Mother a Poem smile.gif

Sometimes I feel her easing further into her grave,

resigned, as always, and I have to come to her rescue.

Like now, when I have so much else to do. Not that

she'd want a poem. She would have been proud, of course,

of all its mystery, involving her, but scared a little.

Her eyes would have filled with tears. It always comes

to that, I don't know why I bother. One gesture

and she's gone down a well of raw feeling, and I'm left

alone again. I avert my eyes, to keep from scaring her.

On her dresser is one of those old glass bottles

of Jergen's Lotion with the black label, a little round

bottle of Mum deodorant, a white plastic tray

with Avon necklaces and earrings, pennies, paper clips,

and a large black coat button. I appear to be very

interested in these objects, even interested in the sun

through the blinds. It falls across her face, and not,

as she changes the bed. She would rather have clean sheets

than my poem, but as long as I don't bother her, she's glad

to know I care. She's talked my father into taking

a drive later, stopping for drinks and foods.

She is dreaming of foam on the glass, the tray propped

on the car window. And trees, farmhouses, the expanse

of the world as seen from inside the car. It is no

use to try to get her out to watch airplanes

take off, or walk a trail, or hear this poem

and offer anything more than "Isn't that sweet!"

Right now bombs are exploding in Kosovo,Iraq students

shot in Colorado, and my mother is wearing peace and love sign on her face.

I know there no words can description what mothers do for their children...!

    god bless all mothers

    i love you hooyo

  11. salaan caleykum,

I have been living many years in europe. I went to so many somalis wedding parties. what my realy disapointed is that none of the brids and grooms were not wearing our traditational weddings clothes!!!!! redface.gif They only were waering white wedding dress and suits which is horrible expensive.!!!!!

what happend our traditional wedding traditional clothes!!! such as:gareysii, cuuntino, and saadix qeedkii!!!!

Why are somalis ppl taking over from someone else's traditionals and forgotten their own traditional,

I live now where are a lot of somalis ppl are living. they doing very well in the business. however they open only clothes shops for womens and internet& telephone connections shops. in every sigle street and it's all sameeeee!!!! but is good..

I know the fashion is very important in this century. But changing your own traditional is not fashionable!!!! :( It's something where u should be proud about it, and to show the others that u have a beautyful traditional.. smile.gif

what also make me angry is that somalis ppl moving from country to another country. why they couldn't stay in one country and make something especial and back to their own country. redface.gif

  12. Do u know what i noticed somalishe women they never talk about sex. I don't know how about mens, but i 'm sure about womens. I know it is xaraam talking about the sex that u have with ur husband. but talking in genernal about sex to female to female it doesn't have to be the sex that u have with ur husband. is that wrong. U know middle age womens they can teauch young womens. They could at least give some advise. and

even when children ask mum whats means sex, they will anwser naa ceeb!!! go to ur to ur room!! They could at least tell them in nice way and explaine it. Sex is health but somalishe ppl they seem it is ceeeb.

  13. I think coooking ie very important for both man and woman. I think somalis men should to learn how to cook.it's important for ur self and for ur family. if ur wife is sick u have to cook something for the children and for her init. So don't take it is wrong but cooking is always good. :D:D:D

  14. heeye rudy!!

i know u saying this words just in the beginning. but would u saying this nice word till u are 50 married nooooo!!! in the begin is always 'honey i like ur eyes, i love u u are so sweet''. But after namy years married is : meeday tii  , nayaa na ka soo tuur bariiska. init. :e
