CG: The thought of Men only section bores me already. What would you talk about? Less likely you'll have 'tampon' and 'butt firming' related issues! Absolutely nothing, nothing whatsoever to entice your audience. :D

Besides, we won't have any more flies on the walls! We like you guys here..

As for the men's.... bah. Between Politics and sports, the only other topic important to men is women... and there is a women's section already.

When you put it like that Athena :D

becouse she and this Idea share the character flaw of arrogance.

Look at this bitter bitter philosopher. Waryaa JB if I had cyber-feelings, I’d be very offended, but since I don’t, I say payback is sweet :D .

Sometimes, however, she goes berserk.

Only when I get irritated and these days many many Faaraxs are testing my patience. Soon I think I just might go on a spree (of what you ask? I’ll leave that to your imagination ;) )

PS: MEN section = Plain ole' sad little boring corner.

Very true, but who cares? I don’t. I say let them get bored there ;) .

They come here and instead of being polite guests start telling us that our topics are disgusting, inappropriate blah blah and then they mock us for arguing for our rights  .

No no no, we DON'T need men's sections. Men's section is IN women's section. Why the hell would you wanna be somewhere else but in women's section? Once you're in women's section, you should always wanna go back there again and again and again...

To all the women, don't distress. I make the solemn promise not to ogle, lurk at women's sections with the intent to only glean life imparting womenly wisdom that I'm sure y'all be discussing.

^hehe, if only the Faarax's in the politics section were a lot more rational and a little less inconceivable, the politics section would be much more diverse and interesting...

Lady's...men's corner or not, I assure you, nothing is going to keep these brothers away from the women's section...learn to live with it :D

On a serious note, if the brothers who don't usually venture into this corner really see a need for their own section, then why not? It'd actually be interesting to see what they have to discuss.

I make the solemn promise not to ogle, lurk at women's sections with the intent to only glean life imparting womenly wisdom that I'm sure y'all be discussing.

Awww, how sweet of you to appreciate our 'life imparting wisdom'...takes a smart one to recognize :D (nice try)

Looks like the idea is catching on some wild fires. From my understanding, in terms of numbers, women are a majority all over the place, in terms of quality, they seem wiser and more reasonable then most men, explanation is that anarchy and displacement has taken its toll more on men then women, leaving behind brilliant women and deranged men, for that reason, a Men's section will help the men, and I like the idea of the hormonal sex sensing keypads to authenticate and allow males and reject females so men can talk comfortably.

Exclussive Issues Men can discuss on a Men's section:

From e-Nuri Social Workers Shortlist:

1. For first time marriage hopefuls, or second run of the mill; Which Halimo will best match my personality? A Kurtunwaarrey girl, or e Geel Jirto from Fort Lauderdale?

2. Interpreting Halimo's objections for marriage proposals.

3. Sharing success stories on relationships, or how to save a rocky relationship.

4. What NOT to do on your wedding night.

5. Free advice when cornered by a tigress ( Call 1 800 mens shelter )

6. What men like and dont like about women's behaviour, faith, dress, scents, shopping habits, social events, and interests.

7. Women as critical readers, men as open books, How to avoid beeing read ( facial and body language ) like a Novel, proven methods to camouflage your next move.

8. Negative Eefects of Qat, Alcohol, Smoking and other narcotics on manhood and why making dhiker on a brisk ten Km/ day run along CreditView under snow, beats Xabbat Sawda and Viagra combined, keeping you calm when under fire by any Halimo, sister, mother, wife, ayeeyo etc.

9. How a man can be of great help around the house while at same time seeing more of his family to maintain sanity.

10. Dreaded Divorce, Child Custody or child support cases.

11. Polygamy, releasing dangerous pressure, as a positive step toward fixing a punctured realationship, how to maintain 2 wives and a sound mind economically, as a prerequisite for National leadership in upcoming Somali Anarchist Government elections in Jawhar.

Those were my quick thoughts today, please add to the list.

As for the Business section:

It may be true, SOL may lack the viewer mix to make this page viable. Therefore, e-Nuri Business Asssociates should go to other forums for networking.

^^ The above-penned list is almost a comprehensive catalogue.

I, too, may possibly have some choice words to dispense to the masculine mass in matters of courtship and matrimony. Though I do not desire the discussion to become diffuse, I will say, that it is beyond all peradventure that it is of great moment that young men and women recieve instruction, tutorials, as it were, on the art of courtship and marriage. For my own part, I have observed, bye-the-bye, a coarsening of the relations between young men and women, and, especially, the coarsening of females in circumstances of courtship and marriage. This is save another symptom of the death of decorum in the darkness of these times.

However, if women, after being so coarse, still feel that they are being treated badly, the fault, as Brutus said, "lies not in the stars, but in [them]selves."

P.S. The fourth point on Nur's list had tested the strength of my lung capacity as I broke out in laughter. It had reminded me of some humoristic anecdotes that were related in the book Tuxfatul Al-Caruus (تحÙØ© العروس)- the classic book, and not the contemporary rendition- pertaining to the tales of horror and terror caused by the imprudence of the groom on the wedding night (ليلة الزÙاÙ). In this story, a mother tries to allay, with poetic cogency, the fear and shock of her green daughther, as she, the maiden, after an encounter so strange in her chamber, falls into the worried expression of a patient being asked by the surgeon, knife poised in hand, "Where is your appendix". I shall relate both the poem and the risble details in the Men's section, if it comes to be. It is ill appropriate to relate it here. :D

Rahima, X-quizit, Nur & Mutakalim's suggestions convinced me. I would be interested to see how the other 50% of the population thinks & acts.

If it does come to pass, just make sure not to place it above women.

Helpful topics:

1. Get a life--Learn how to cook & pick up after yourself

2. Understanding your finiancial incompetence--Get a decent job

3. The attainable Goal--omitting *nayaa* from your limited vocabulary

4. How to take illness like a Man

5. Crying (over anything other than death of a loved one) is not acceptable

6. Farting in Public---Why its not funny

7. Intimacy: Not a threat to Manhood
