Masaajidka C/casiis, Xamar's oldest masaajid, said to be close to 1,000 years old. Xabaalahaas waa hore ee Barbaarta jajabiyeen filaa.

Suuqa Ceelgaab. That is Dhagaxtuur statue at the background, so is taalada Sayidka too. Masaajidka ka dambeeyo Dhagaxtuur waa Isbaheysiga; the building on the right on the hill waa Golaha Shacabka (Guriga Ummadda). And the little park full of trees between taalada Sayidka and Golaha Shacabka waa Beerta Daraawiishta.

The house's style was a popular Muqdisho-style back in the day. Most houses of middle-class people looked like that. No respectable family built a house without that barando and fiyoorin geesaha darbiga gudaha ku hareersan.
