John Barnes...The most gifted player ever to play for Liverpool and England. This man was so skilful even the Brazilian legendary coach Tele Santana refused to accept he was European never mind an English after he scored that Maradonesque goal against Brazil at Maracana in Rio...that says it all.

Imagine going to a cold, damp place where the solace was Match of the Day on a Sat night and a live game on Sundays. Barnes, part of a few black players in the 80s and the SOLE reason I'm a scouse fan. Glad I cought his best years.

Bob and Co, you're all posting too many average and unproven players.

Marco Van Basten, the great goal scorer.

Spectacular goal for Ajax.

Michael Laudrup deserves more credit than he ever got - versatile, great technique and a brilliant football brain.

I'm trying to remember a Brazilian player who used to play for Sao Paolo and No I'm not talking about Rai, from Mid nineties to late 90's, he was a brilliant dribbler (Yes I love dribblers...I just cannot seem to recall his name...bugger.
