That is becuase the Royal Air Force has blown up his house to smithereens and his country was under the shackles of colonialism. Where do you stand on the army strugle against colonialism?

They should have been fought both with political means and militaristic means, But using Jihadism Takfirims has never brought victory or closer to independence not in Somaliland and certainly not Sudan. I believe if the Dervishes used other tactics and used a more nationalistic ideology and had better leadership it could have lasted longer. So now answer my Question who would've Sayid Muhammad abdulla hassan supported if he was put to live today again ,the Amisom guarded Somali government or the Shabaab Youth. All groups such as Shabaab though the dervishes both in Sudan and Somaliland were destine to fail boko haram in Nigeria is destine to fail. Alqaeda will fail Al nusra front will fail ansaaar al diin in Mali will fail, History has proven that.

OK, the answer your question then I don't know who the Sayid would have back in todays conflict. Largely due to the fact that the man has been dead for almost a century now.

while every one in Africa, Asia and Mideast was in the shackles of colonial yoke, the Darwish was in action 1901. That was one of the oldest freedom movements in Africa. Xaaji give the Darwish his dues as a Somali Nationalist icon, and please don't forget his place in the Somali literature.

I agree, The Watermaal and the Somali Jecel groups fought the Italians in most of Benadir, Marka, WArshiiq, and Lafoole . Thousans of fighters died in those battles, especially in Lafoole in 1924. The Italians were welcomed in Hobyo region controlled by a traitor called Ali Yusuf who originated from Puntland. If we look back history just over one century, during the colonial era many groups could be shamed.

so we got folks from baydhabo and bakool from the M clan who doesn't have a single town in the shabbelle hoose and are claiming it just because their cousins do live in the region. So whats stopping walaalaha Galgaduud and mudug of doing the same thing when they also have cousins who are natives in the region. gobolka waxaa qasaayo laba dhinac oo shaqo iyo shuqulba ku lahayn.the hell with somali clan politics its poison
