A great and Brave Move from The Republic of Somaliland Interior Minster Warancade . And Obviously this is after The WaleweynSomaliya broke the agreement signed in Istanbul about the Air traffic Management of the Two Sides being managed in Hargeisa. http://www.somalilandnew.com/?p=16438.. The Istanbul Talks are dead now and The int. Community must get in and mediated .

@ Clevah that picture is wrong Qabil land is The walweyn 4.5 Not the Democratic Elected Goverment of the republic of Somaliland.

Alpha, you have the luxury of a British passport and so do most of these politicians so they're travels aren't hindered; but what about the locals?

you say that as if the Somalia passport has any value beyond Somalia. i've seen some of these allegedly banned passports (apparently there's at least 15 different versions in circulation). some of them actually have a bio-metric chip ;). what country is foolish enough to accept 'let's pretendisms' of Somalia, abti?

as for your heinous assertions re the British Passport, the constitution of SL prohibits any foreign national from holding high office, unless, of course, they're British. remember SL was a former British protectorate.

i was at Hargeisa International Airport last week....this Koonfurian woman, who was carrying what appeared to resemble the 'Abdiwali Gas' version of the Somalia passport, seemed to resist paying one of the various charges. it was quite obvious she didnt want to pay due to her vile Somalilandiidnimo tendencies. her face said it all walahi. she was fuming in being subjected to the stringent measures at Egal. balse rules are rules, ma garatay?

I can't get over how absurd this decision is. How are Somalilanders who don't hold foreign passports (the vast majority) supposed to travel? Somaliland is not internationally recognized and its passport is useless, say what you will about the Somali passport but people are still able to travel with it, though often with some difficulties.
