If stolen or lost no one will ever be able to activate device without your Apple ID & Password. I also hear that the iTunes radio and the Camera/photos apps are slicker. One is on a mere 3G, the other is on the powerful 4G. To put it in perspective, LTE(one of those 4G technologies) is 10 times faster than the 3G.
