Can 'Moderator' also be called dhexdhexaadiye in Soomaali or kormeere (supervisor) ?

 

In this case, i mean (Computer Science) a person who moniters and or moderates the conversations in an on-line chatroom for bad language, inappropriate content, etc

my personal opinion is go with "Kormeere" ... his Job is "Kormeere" not "Dhexdhexaadin"...and Just like a kormeere he reports to Maamule (Admin)....This would be translation of Function not of meaning.

Yes, you're right, The translation of a term may also vary depending on context, and of course we should use our common sense and intuition.

How would you guys translate 'live tile'? I'm thinking loox nool. The English used tile so why don't we use loox because that is what we use to write the quraan on back in the day. It somehow fits with our culture.

From what I've seen, Somalis use Ku:..... at the top of the letter which is short for 'ku socota' and ka:.... at the bottom which is short for 'ka socota'.
