I'm not sure whether this has already been posted. If not, you guys should consider contributing to Google's efforts to add Somali to its existing language options in Google Translate, its free, multilingual translation service.

Here are the details and link.

Google Translate currently supports translation between 71 languages. Our team is working on expanding this list and Somali could be one of the next supported languages with your help. If you speak Somali and English, we will greatly appreciate your help with identifying good Somali translations.

Are you ready to help us? On the next pages we will provide translations and ask you to rate them.

Thank you very much for your input on behalf of Google and future Somali Translate users!"

@BiLaaL Horay baa halkan loo soo dhigay laakiin mahadsanid for sharing

@Haatu, Dismiss is in this case = (to make something)disappear as we've already talked about it, so taas baa gacansayr qadka ka saartay.

Haatu, Alpha is right but in this context it's better to mention the alternative for thread 'Topic' so that it doesn't confuse others

Thread = Topic (english)= Mawduuc (Arabic) = Somali ( ? )

Mushkiladda Gulguwiga (Ku talax tagga Diinta)

Red colored = is not original Somali but Arabic

Talax tag = ku xadgudbid, actualy most of us would think it's taraxtag

War iyo dhamaantii erayga cusub ee meesha ka muuqda waa Guluwi

this BS thread is a joke.

MMA speaks af-maay. Nuune speaks af-Jinni, Abbass has the worse reer biyomaal mumbo-jumbo accent and Haatu......well, he speaks with the worst accent of the markabuul folks.

abtis,

y'all have no right to translate anything. cease from diluting the af-Somaliga.

MMA, according to the dictionary that's correct. What did they used to translate it as in Somalia?

Nuune, Why use Laki when you can say Doorey?

Abbas, can we change eraygasirta to eraysireed? The latter seems more grammatically correct.

Alpha, I don't know why you can't understand me. No one else seems to have a problem.
