This government is useless

Recommended Posts

Than u have to stick with the SFG and the African union troops but dont expect anything to change any time soon, down there. Because we have seen the first year of the SFG , political disputes with the Jubbaland, the President acting as the minister of health the prime minister the minister of education. All what was achieved was done by reer Mogadishu because of their investment in the city. But the goverment hasn't done much really, in terms of security in terms of creating institutions in terms of building trust between Somalis. And you my friend have to deal with that because that is what it means to be part of Somalia. The country is already split well the former republic its just not official it is balkanized on all fronts. We shall see what next year brings.

The Process of Nation Building is not easy , When you have spoiler and alshabaab undermining Gov Progress Nation building then becomes slow and difficult process .

President Hassan should Fire the DF Minister Fiqi Asap , Also Tarzan the Governor needs to step up and secure the City build loyal police force .

This useless president and useless gov't needs to go in peace. We need Sheekh Shariif back along with all the heads of the TFG gov't reinstated so they can lead us to glory again.

Guys,

We need to be more patient. Its easy to criticize and find faults, but its much more difficult to come up with alternatives. AMISOM was deployed in Mogadishu in 2008 and Sheick Shariif was elected in january 2009, but they only managed to drive out AL Shabaab from Mogadishu by mid of 2012. It took them nearly 3 years to liberate Mogadishu.

Hasan Sheick hasn't even been in the job for a year. But his government already filled the (political) vacuum left by Al Shabaab in Beletweyn, Baidoa, Gedo, Marka, etc. So be patient and give the government some time.

Too many Somali men vie to become politicians without truly understanding how politics works, how to negotiate, how to govern a country, how to handle opponents, how to create institutions and how to build a strong foundation. There's no vision

The fact that dozens of Somali men ran for Presidential office proves this. These men just like to wear flashy suits, wear expensive watches, fly on private jets and sleep in 5-star Hotels, but they don't know the first thing on how to truly run a country. They like the title of being "Minister" or "President" but they don't like the work it entails.

We shouldn't be surprised at this

It's not as if the comparison is made in out of thin air. Compare the progress made between August 2011 (when Al Shabaab left Mogadishu) till August 2012 when the city was very much secured and the territory under the government's control expanding rapidly, to the period between September 2012-July 2013. Clearly security and military progress have regressed or stalled completely.

Couldn't agree more sir!, The rapid progress which was steady during that time compared with the inactivity of the current crop simply re-enforces the calibre of the previous administration compared with this useless one. There is simply nothing, I repeat NOTHING this lot are doing period!

I think i'll create my own Jabhad cause this government won even liberate the country if they are given 10 years of time.

I said this to you few months back, and I was saying it since 2007, that for the outside foreigners to stay in Somalia, there has to be a force la dhihi karo waa cadaw, glad you finally understood the truth!

Thats when AMISOMs funding period was about to end and they decided to show some progress and started an offensive in order to get an extension of their funding. Amisom set-up 24 military bases around Xamar, before that Amisom was only present in Villa Somalia and Airport for nearly 3 years. While rest of city wsd occupied by AL shabaab.
