keep ignoring the facts on the ground, with this so call election, you seem to be suffering from a long, drown out of your own spin of wind twisting, you’re being delusional here. You tend to label folks with different views than yours. Look inwards warya, if you consider what transpired yesterday as viable election and responsibility lies with that ex warlord/jihadi. Believe you me, there is no Jubaland admin as of now.

You actually don't need any help Xiin. The Barre story came from the sides and even his supporters will admit that, for now, it is nothing but a story. It is possible that more information may come out in the next few days to change the way we look at things but, for now, the story remains that black Ahmed is the president of Jubbaland and that Barre is a self-declared president.

Yunis,

We disagree on that. Lets leave it at that.

Jubbaland conflict is with Mogadishu, not with Barre Hiiraale :D as much as some like to put it that way. There has been meetings between president Ahmed and AMISOM. There is a government appointed committee in the city heavily guarded by AMISOM. There is a man with a decree from Mogadishu on hand as the governor of Kismayo (his name is Mohamed Amin, a cousin of Ahmed Madoobe) :D , and there is Barre in his little cariish telling the world he was msyteriously elected president.

All these will be resolved in the near future...and the result will either move Somalia forward or take it back many years. That is all awoowe.

NGONGE, way to go :D :D

Uchi, Ahmed was elected by landslide more than he ever imagined so the election is over

So, even if he bribed them they still represent all the tribes that inhabit the area? What is the objection again?

It certainly can't be because of Kenya's presence there...helping with the Alshabab problem. Bloody hell Somali's are a cursed people, god has given up on them I suspect.

^^WW arrived with enforcements :D :D

People are very angry with the government ---there was conference call last night, if Hassan Sheekh was there , he would've fled Mogadishu. People are up in arms by what this weak government is doing...

^The Jubbaland government have already released a statement threatening to withdraw their recognition of the SFG if Culusow continues to pursue the path of creating conflict in Jubbaland - A very strong message.

^^I think a clear line must be drawn on the sand.

Ahmed has been very conciliatory , he needs to take a firm stand. Hassan is playing with fire ---not sure he understands the consequence

Xiinoow,

You gotta give it to Hassan and his G-boys allies. They have stolen the show, muddied the water and made a parallel narrative. This is the classical xaalad abuur.

On the other hand Hassan's presidency is defined by his opposition to the byproduct of the very process that brought him to power. He knowingly and willingly put his entire presidency on the line by carefully picking his fights with specific constituencies.

Now Madobe and et al need to play this serious game like a pro. The new admin needs to do the following:

1. Send a delegation to Mogadishu and publicly request a meeting with Hassan, Saacid and Jawaari.

2. Draft a formal request (through the PMs that represent the region) to have parlaiment consider to take up this issue and other weighty issues like the upper house, constitutional court and so on.

3. Assemble its militia and attack AS and put Hassan on the spot and have him reveal his hand.

4. Ask the government to grant their share of the foreign aid.

The news cycle will dramatically change and Hassan will be hard pressed to say the fight against AS is not a priority for his government.
