Jubbaland State Flag will be hoist tomorrow Inshaallaah

No, they are both under Al Shabaab currently. Beled-Xaawo was the fiercest resistance Al Shabaab put up in Gedo and the town suffered massively in the drive to remove Al Shabaab. It was the strongest and first line Al Shabaab defense in the Jubba Valley. They regrouped in Baardheere and this is where they held their first line since. A move to take Baardheere will result in similar destruction so for political reasons the Gedo troops have waited to take it with ease.

Personally, and obviously there is some bias in this, but if Kismaayo will not become the capital of Jubbaland it makes sense Baardheere, the second largest city in the Jubba Valley and in the middle of the Jubba Valley to assume that position. After Kismaayo, it is the town capable of hosting a strong federal state in the Jubba Valley. The pro-Baardheere lobby was so strong the capital was not ratified and will be deliberated once more.

Gabbal, reer Xamarku wexe ku maahmaahaan.Salaat kasta wakhtigeeda ayaa la tukadaa.

And If you ask me, one should have prioritized to free region from Al Shabaab, then consult with locals in districts, region(Baardhere, Luuq, Bu'ale, etc) before organizing a 3 Regions wide Conference.

Iminka Maghrib ayaa la tukaday while its Duhr time.

That is one of the strongest and most valid criticisms levelled against the current process although Luuq for instance is free and the longtime district commissioner is in Kismaayo from what I understand.

Much of Muqdisho was under AS control when TFG arrived in Villa Somalia both under A. Yusuf and Shariif in their early days. Wihile AS still controlled all of the South including large parts of Muqdisho, hundreds of delegates arrived in Muqdisho to ratify the constitution, ended the transitional part, Hassan elected to Office, parliament and cabinets, Kismaayo and other Southern cities liberated. All that took place while AS still in control of most of the country. If one were to follow your logic, we'd be stuck with TFG and we'd be fighting AS in the streets of the capital. Perhaps, your secessionist tendency wishes the death and the destruction to linger on forever in the South.

Good that Luuq is Al Shabaab free.

Regarding the capital. I think it would make politicly sense not to select Kismayo, and to have the first President from one region and the capital in the other region, Middle Jubba's or Gedo. To create 3 regions that are bound together by nessercity.

Gabbal, which one would you prefer for tolka? Presidency or Capital.

Exactly why A.Yussuf's Embaghati and Sheick shariifs Djibouti build goverment didn't work and found it nessersary to organise a more inclusive, bottem-up build goverment(roadmap) that could function as a political platform for Somalis.

But one(mainly pirates) is already trying to destabalize that political platform that took so much effort to organize by beating the clan drums. Simply because one seeks away to get back in to power, tricks pirates are known for.

Somalia

Secessionists in their basic human capital seem devoid of any logic and rational persuasion and wish condemnation on their imaginary opponent. I have come to this conclusion while being in SOL.

One cannot be a hijacking pirate while following the rule of law, you must find another way to insult. But as well know, insults are thrown around frequently by people in desperate situations. No doubt we have witnessed that with the rise of Jubbaland as our erstwhile secessionist colleagues here on SOL have been reduced to mere scripts.

Carafaat, support Jubbaland, support prosperity, support the rule of law. :D

Asalama Calaykum.

I do support the goverment of Somalia, constitution and rule of law. Read goverments statement about unconstitutoonality of Jubbaland. But it's pirates who hijack ships and try to hijack Somalia(again). :D
