Someday our souls will be one
And our union will be forever.
I know that everything I give you
Comes back to me.
So I give you my life,
Hoping that You
Will come back to me.

Seek the wisdom that will untie your know
see the path that demands your whole being.
Leave that which is not, but appears to be
seek that which is, but is not apparent.

- Rumi

Blue I don't think I've told you, but when I went to Turkey I paid a lil visit to his grave in Konya (where he passed away). It's amazing how many people come there from all over the world just to see where he lived and died.

I stood by his grave, being a big fan It was a magical experience to be there. I will never forget it.=)

Rumi, Hafiz, Saadi, Omar Khayyam. Wonder what was in the water in ancient Persia.

Saadi poem is the motto at the interance of the United Nations and in Persian.

The sons of Adam are limbs of each other, Having been created of one essence.

When the calamity of time affects one limb The other limbs cannot remain at rest.

If thou hast no sympathy for the troubles of others

Thou art unworthy to be called by the name of a human.

I like the following:

Moving Water

When you do things from your soul, you feel a river

moving in you, a joy.

When actions come from another section, the feeling

Don't let others lead you. They may be blind or, worse, vultures.

Reach for the rope of God. And what is that? Putting aside self-will.

Because of willfulness people sit in jail, the trapped bird's wings are tied,

fish sizzle in the skillet.

The anger of police is willfulness. You've seen a magistrate

inflict visible punishment.

Now see the invisible. If you could leave your selfishness, you

would see how you've been torturing your soul. We are born and live inside black water in a well.

How could we know what an open field of sunlight is?

Don't insist on going where you think you want to go. Ask the way to the spring. Your living pieces will form a harmony.

There is a moving palace that floats in the air with balconies and clear water flowing through, infinity everywhere, yet contained under a single tent.
